Not only that, any kind of buff never works on the first go. Sometimes it takes 4 or five times just to dismantle a weapon.
No known fixes bungo, nice!

1 ReplyActually have a fix for this, it’s a little dumb but worth a shot. Apparently any kind of controller drift (I.E a wonky analog stick that causes a directional input even when not being used) can cancel the application. Try to hold the left stick as still as possible.

It works for me.

1 ReplyDon't you get it? It provides you with a feeling of taking meaningful and impactful action...when you finally apply that tonic at 20th try. /s

52 RepliesThis bug is irritating. It's something we are currently investigating. I will let you know when we have more information on a fix.

It's awesome, artificially extended play time.
-
I have started to time it and the worst I have had was around two minutes
-
Please fix this. Same problem applies to putting the motes in for reckoning.
-
It's cuz the servers are shit. So much lag in this game even if it's not noticeable most of the time it's still always there. It keeps getting worse also with every week that passes. Bungie keeps shutting down their server capacity now that they don't have their sugar daddy activision any more. I took a 6-7 week break from this game (I didn't plan on coming back ever but then I saw this spring event so came back to get the loot from it) and when I came back I noticed instantly that the lag had gotten 10 times worse. I never had the game freeze on me for 2-3 seconds before to load up the next area and I never had issues dismantling stuff now these things happen all the damn time. This game was shit 7 months ago, now it's shit on fire with a bunch of morons pouring gasoline on it trying to put it out.

yup, been noticing it a lot more lately. revelers tonic, synths for reckoning, applying shaders..
-
LOL. So true. It happens with a lot of things in the menu. Dismantling, infusing, Using, etc.
-
Thought it was just me smdh
-
It happens when picking throwables too I HATE IT WHEN IT HAPPENS.
-
I love applying a fusion rifle only load out with no tonic and blasting people in the crucible https://www.instagram.com/p/BwkGDJxAN--/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=11oz33d5j5r0r

Just another way to artificially increase play time brotha. They don’t respect our time and have no real appreciation for our money. If they did, cores would’ve been pulled from infusion awhile ago. You might as well be talking to a brick wall. Spend 5 minutes trying to apply shaders to an item. So annoying.

1 ReplyWhat does the tonic actually do?

6 RepliesI'm pretty sure this has been a day 1 issue of Desitny 2. And. It's. Still. There.
Here's your friendly reminder that Scatter Grenades STILL BOUNCE when they're not supposed to 4.5 years later since day 1 of D1....

Deej: "This bug is irritating. 5 RepliesDon't forget the Five Minutes it takes for the menu to actually load
-
2 RepliesThis has been going on since the season of drifter started with synths

1 ReplyYou should hear the shit that comes out of my mouth when I have to apply a shader to something or infuse something 5 times in a row until it works.
-
Real shit
-
glad this happens to others and im not just crazy https://gph.is/g/apeeBxZ
-
Does that to me on other stuff as well like applying a shader or mod. I didn't think anything of it earlier because I was already use to it. It def is annoying.

I had this issue and found that its my controller drifting just enough that the input overrides some other inputs, but not enough to noticably move. Its definatly an electrical issue with the controller and not necessarily an issue with the game.(although a hotfix could potentially help with this issue
