After grinding the reckoning for multiple full sets of Gambit Prime armor for 3 characters (not to mention all the new weapons) my vault is nearly full. It appears The Revelry will be another activity which is heavily rewarded with Armor drops. While I enjoy having lots of armor options, I fear this new activity will max out my vault space and force me to dissassemble quite a few of my weapon and armor pieces with unique rolls I would really preffer to keep. Bungie, please increase vault space to at least 1000 items.

2 Replieswe dont need more vault space stop hoarding

no need, the Rivalry set will be useless after the Event and the Ornaments won't work after the Event. The whole thing is useless, only reason to play is for the Arbalist

1 ReplyEdited by JadeDragon: 4/11/2019 5:36:25 PMMore Vault space please. Yah, if you have a fully leveled Titan, Hunter, Warlock and you want the Gambit Prime full Notorious Armor set for each role (Collector, Sentry, Reaper, & Invader) that's 5 armor pieces X 4 roles X 3 Classes which is already 60 spaces. Reverie Dawn full sets modded with Transcendent Blessing and that's another 15. (using them for Last Wish because buffed damage is very helpfull) Seasonal Bright Engram armors, 15 for each season. Iron Banner Armor sets. again 15 for each season. This is a good majority of space taken in my vault. Some Raid rewards. A variety of PvE and PvP versions of weapons. Certain Nightfall drops that have random perks, not God Rolls, but "good enough" until I can get something better. Exotic Weapons & Armor, especially the exotic armors that extend or almost reset my Super that also have complimentary perks that I like/use often. We've got well over a 100 exotics Space has gotten a little tight in the vault.

Agree. Vault has more armour in it than weapons because “item cannot be reacquired” Add more vault space or completely change this requirement. Adding more vault space seems like the easier thing to do.

4 RepliesThe entire point of the game is to collect stuff if you are not maxed out yet in vault space then you are playing the game wrong.. Or a casual in which your opinion does not count.
-
2 RepliesYou get like 500 slots... I don't even use 100. What are you people doing how are you holding on to this much stuff
-
Or allow us to lock in a set roll for "collections" then we can delete it
-
Agreed i need more space for my personal armory!!!!!!!!!!

Edited by iflytii: 4/11/2019 7:23:43 PMMore vault space would be great for hoarders like myself but... A couple of ideas might help both with vault space, and overall item management: First, just give shaders, and all other non-gear items their own space . Give enough slots that they don't spill over into the postmaster, and make managing them (IE deleting them) easier. I end up with shaders and other crap in my vault that really could be stored other places. Second would be to introduce load-out storage groups. This would allow you to keep your favorite groupings together for better item management and quicker changing. You want to feel nostalgic, one click and bam - you're in your glowing solstice of heroes armor. Want to jump into crucible, one click and you are ready to make Lord Shaq proud. Raids you say? Well, you get the picture. I know the addition of the collections feature seems like an attempt at this, but you can't one-click equip anything, and you can't re-purchase anything with random rolls so really, collections is kind of useless with more current armor.

Edited by TJ_Dot: 4/11/2019 8:06:10 PMI need more badly, there's no way I'm getting good gambit prime sets for each role. on each character I really need to roll through all of my loadouts in a vid or something Why should I be prevented from allowing all gear to gain some level of appreciation? They don't even tell us why if it's difficult

1 ReplyEdited by Lull9: 4/11/2019 5:59:00 PMIn D1 I thought the vault space was atrocious and inexcusable. In D2 the vault space is "acceptable" and you can more legitimately make the argument that people are unreasonably "hoarding" stuff... BUT it's crazy to think that they're going to keep adding stuff and never increase vault space. We already just got 60 pieces of Gambit Prime armor (full notorious set for each character 5*4*3) that are unique and completely "necessary" in that they perform a function that cannot otherwise be duplicated. (I'm fine with deleting the lower tier stuff and never looking back.) That's just for one piece per slot per role. Something like Gambit, scavenger perks can make a pretty big difference. Part of the problem is collections. Most Y2 stuff can't actually be reacquired from collections. Would be nice if the collections had a stock roll and/or you could buy random roll pieces for 100 shards. The RNG is so bad that being able to purchase rolls this way wouldn't really be game-breaking. Maybe make it so you have to dismantle an existing item of the same type to buy a random roll. Would also be nice if the perk pools were reduced. There's too many perks, which leads to the desire to keep more stuff that is partially redundant because one helmet has part of a roll that you want and another has the other part of the roll that you want. Something needs to be tweaked, otherwise our vaults tend to be full of sort-of-garbage, sort-of-good things that we can't easily replace if we delete them. What's the point of playing the game if we have to delete things we played to get?
-
More space on the consumables page would be nice too, I have one space left.
-
If you hunt IB gear every time, they must be eating your vault space. It sucks that Bungie didn't make them ornaments this year.
-
How is your vault full? weirdo
-
The collections could be a great alternative to vault space. They just need to come up with a reasonable way to retrieve the random rolled gear.
-
For D3 I suggest a new system that just unlimits inventory and just removes the vault entirely. Why have limits even?
-
500 spots is plenty. You need to delete some stuff
-
Why wouldn't you just break down the Tier 1 and 2 armor sets that you're never going to use?
-
4 RepliesEdited by BootKnacks: 4/11/2019 5:13:15 PMDon't get me wrong, I am not saying not to add more space, But I really don't understand how space is a problem for people. I don't care if they add it, and I am not opposed to it. I just don't see how you could fill up so much space!
-
You really should break down stuff.
-
The vault just isn't needed, because the collections tab just makes it obsolete. At least because you could potentially access everything from it. Of course they have made it to where that is not presently the case, but they could change that. It's just a matter of them doing it. Just add mods and find a way to get perks involved and you have everything everyone wants. RNG but also direct progression and meaningful choices that they love so much.
-
Untill they fix things that need it 90% of this crap ain't worth keeping. If you have a hand cannon a shotgun and a machine gun that's it. Lord knows no one has the cores the infuse and master work multiple armor sets you want to keep. Having different perk sets on armor don't matter anyway as the majority of weapons are not viable in this meta.
-
2 RepliesI can guarantee there is hundreds of things you don't use. Stop being a hoarder.
-
If your vault is full, you need to delete shit. There’s no way you need all that shit lol
