Exactly! And think of how much more time you'd have to enjoy it and how much more fun it would be for people if they didn't have to stop what they're doing to farm enhancement cores. Why farm for hours to infuse something that may last for the next few powerful reward drops until you get something that's a higher power? Then you have to repeat the process. Or just suck it up and wear stuff you don't want until you reach max level. That's not fun. That's limiting.

[enhancement cores are easy to get though. Maybe you shouldn’t infuse so recklessly?]

Edited by mxpxboy: 3/25/2019 3:06:41 AMI'm convinced you people are talking out of your asses. It's not recklessly using them. It doesn't take long to run out of them after a couple of infusions. And that's not even considering how many it takes if you want to masterwork weapons or armor.

[wait, you actually masterwork your gear? Please tell me you’re joking. Masterworks are only useful on curated rolls, no one’s masterworking a -blam!-ing ancient apocalypse plate that gives mobility and primary ammo finder. Even if you are masterworking gear, you only improve the masterworks you want, like impact in an auto rifle, range on a sniper, blast radius on a launcher. Most legendary gear requires only 3 cores for each infusion. If you can’t manage that so that every time you infuse into the gear it raises you at least a light level, you’re doing something wrong. Also, wait to masterwork until you hit the light cap and really have nothing else to do but grind cores and get curated rolls. It worked for me last season, and so far it’s working for me this one.]
