The only thing microstansaction related will be cosmetic. And you can also but the in game stuff with the in game currency, not real world currency.

Matchmaking for every activity.....the game is launching with three activities, story, free roam, and strongholds. Destiny's loot boxes aren't an issue, I like getting everything from just playing. You can't progress your loot, you will need to find new loot as you level. You really should talk about the entire game, not just the hype. I will be playing Anthem but it doesn't seem like there's a strong endgame there. Need to add: Level scaling so there will be no God mode for the power fantacy people.

1 Replyi cant tell you how many destiny killers i have seen launch and fail. Don't get me wrong i will try anthem , i have the access premier to at least try it and if your smart that's what you all should do. If it sucks i cancel my subscription and i'm out 15 bucks. I do have (some) faith in bio ware , They have made some of my favorite single player games like Mass effect and dragon age 1 and 2 but i believe that, that bio ware no longer exist's and my hopes for anthem are Meh, but i don't think their first attempt at an MMO lite is going to set standards or break records. We know for certain all of the weapons are going to be static and perks are mostly going to come from armor and class ability upgrades as you progress. Just think of an open world mass effect . kinda like " Amdromeda" with abilities also derived from "andromeda" Now one game i think may be great is division 2 but again my hopes are only meh. The point is Destiny set the standard and games launched ever since has had them in their cross hairs and maybe there is a reason for that.. You think..
