If you touch the ceiling in the tether casting animation it gets caught on the ceiling instead of going where you aim, been a thing since launch, pretty annoying
-
3 RepliesYeah for some reason the tether actually shoots out if your forehead instead of the bow. Makes sense.
-
5 RepliesThis has always been a thing , even in D1. Its mostly due to the cast animation that makes you float and gives you that extra little jump. I find this so so annoying, if I am firmly planted on the ground.. dont make me jump.. If I have already jumped, DONT MAKE ME JUMP. Its a stupid added extra animation that has no need to be there.. Blade barrage has this as well, and pushes you forward.. Its really annoying.
-
6 RepliesYeah, there's a solution to that. Don't jump. The supers while in casting animation cause you to follow the path you were going even if it means out of boundaries or Higher than maximum jump height.

2 RepliesWonder how many of us will end up committing suicide with BB after next update?

1 ReplyEdited by Refrigerator Jax: 1/20/2019 7:58:05 PMI find it interesting that when you're tethered by another person in crucible you are completely f'ed... the same when the Scorch tether you but not as bad. But when you use tether on a final boss or a pike they can just walk out of it and still use their radar and weopon.
-
All throw-able supers hit the ceiling.
-
The worst is when a team mate jumps infront of your super.
-
Yep. Been happening since D2 Vanilla launch. Still haven’t fixed it.
-
1 ReplyTry that with a nova ☠️
-
1 ReplyStop aiming at the ceiling then?
-
17 RepliesLaughs in Nova bomb and chaos reach

6 RepliesThere are so many stupid things wrong with this game. Some have mentioned Nova already but you can't even be near a wall using Nova without it blowing up in your face. Gee Bungie, do you think your tiny maps that don't work for this game has anything to do with that?
We playtest our game.

Right...
The most irritating thing is tethering stuff during the Shuro Chi encounter. You tether the ground in one spot, the ground completely eats the tether. You tether it in another spot, the actual tether reappears a few meters away raised in the air.
-
1 ReplyThe thing I hate about tether and blade barrage is the little hop it does after casting and I always end up hitting other shit. Totally my fault but god I wish what I aimed at was what I actually hit
-
Yep the teather is huge and sticks to things u are touching to the left of your body and above your head its silly.
-
Edited by ManBlaster: 1/22/2019 1:02:17 PMThis is Actually a problem I agree with. this annoys the piss outta me. how does the animation see the ceiling if its not where you're actually aiming?
-
1 ReplyEdited by EzE_408: 1/21/2019 1:47:35 AMTether needs to come out instantly and be effectively instantly as well. The new supers go right through it very briefly, but long enough to kill you through the tether.
-
Sucks. I feel your pain. It needs a buff
-
9 RepliesYou have encountered what is called the Door Frame and Ceiling gods. Many Warlocks are very familiar with these direct descendants of the architects themselves, as they have taken the lives of many unfortunate nova bomb users.
-
Git gud
-
That might happen because of the little boost when you cast the super. It also might happen because of hitboxes, which is hard to fix. Just dont go celling side and you good
-
Yea I’ve had this problem in d1. Then never again, because it’s not hard to just.. not do it?
-
Good.
-
I find more annoying that on beginning of gambit match, if you fire tether far away towards minions, it can curve literally 90 degrees to hit a pole or such
-
It really happens.
-
Not as annoying as prematurely detonating Thundercrash just because you barely grazed a ledge in one of the many tiny maps with low ceilings and ledges jutting out everywhere... but it's pretty close. ;(
