Maybe, maybe not. Just remember, BA has been out for what, little less than a month? There are still clear points of interest on the roadmap thst is part of the BA release. We haven't seen all the forges or their associated exotics. We are still trickling story on things like Uldren.
People seem, to me, to be rushing to judge everything on day one stuff and fail to recognize much less appreciate the ongoing narrative of D2. Personally I preferred the year 1 dual primary loadouts but love the constant content and story updates of year 2. I think a lot of people are missing out because of impatience and peer pressure.

A sizeable proportion of the player base seem to have already made up their minds over black armoury and, for the time being, ceased playing. This forum generally provides a good indication of how well a content drop is received. During the Forsaken, there was a positive vibe, the same can't be said about the annual pass so far.

I, for one, am enjoying the Black Armory. I also like how they are doing new forge each week - we don't know where this is going. Seems like Bungie Cant win. They drop all the content and some of us will grind 8+ hours a day to clear it. And they "we" complain that we've run out of stuff to do. If they decide to trickle the content out, they are taking to long, give me my stuff etc.

At this point black armoury is proving rather divisive. Personally, I thought it was pretty bad and stopped playing.
