Goddamn
How the -blam!- do you get around the fact that the smaller servitors can make the bigger servitors immume while the bigger one makes the smaller one immune in gofannon, like damn the time it takes to wait for them to stop kills most of the clock time!

I find that lobbing a grenade in the mix will momentarily make them drop their shields. Dunno if it’s just me, but try throwing a grenade in there.

Take down the 3 small servitors then. Even in immune you can kill them with super.

you are severely under powered for this forge, 620+ makes this forge a cake walk, you constantly do enough damage to make him teleport so this doesn't occur.

Edited by Sircophagus: 12/18/2018 3:40:00 PMI have beaten the forge many times and I have seen this once in Nessus and a few times in the EDZ forge. It seems it happens when you take too long to kill the servitor or stop shooting at it. It starts shielding itself and those around it. One of the teammates must keep shooting at it, even if the other two are dead, no revives, keep shooting and he does not seem to shield itself. The same happens with the EDZ forge, if you stop shooting, there is time threshold where he will shield itself again. When at least one teammate is shooting at it, he does not regenerate the shield.

This forge is easier than Volundr. Even if the boss is proper bullet sponge he's gigantic so you really cant miss with the heavy. If you're around 625 and have heavy/super at the boss it's cakewalk.

Just kill the smaller servitors, they don't respawn.

1 ReplyYeah that's real crap, isn't it? Its happened every time I ran it without fail. We won't even mention the piss poor ammo drops. You do need to save a super for the smaller servitors that make the bigger immune. In the run that I beat it in I saved my super for the little bastard servitor, and one of the other dudes used his for one of the others when the time came, and we got through NP. Yeah though, it is crap.

Just save your supers for when little servitors shield the big one. They can't block supers. Just use Whisper or any other good heavy for dps.
