Give PVE players the chance of earning Lunas and Not Forgotten through PVE means please
I'm sorry but if you're going allow bullies and tryhards to use this against people who are casual at best in pvp, give us another way of earning it. It's absolutely unfair and it shouldn't be allowed. The fact you haven't nerfed these weapons just shows you don't care about your medium pve community.

You're joking right? I mean, you have to be a troll surly? I suck at pvp, I'm a pve player, mainly a raider to be more precise. Take me out of a raid, I'm average at best, and even worse at pvp. I would love to have redix and luna, but I know I suck so therefore I decided to focus on other things, and doing the pve pinnicle weapons. Sure, would be nice to have redix and luna but I do not expect to be given something I haven't done the work for. Back in season 1, clan engrams would give the clan raid exclusive weapons without them bothering to do the raid and frankly it pissed me off, I was leading a team in order to gain the clan the engram but they were getting the rewards, although they did zero work for them. If you want the weapons then go get them the same way everyone else who has them did. People like you are whats ruining destiny.

2 RepliesNo, I'm sorry. I strenuously disagree. You don't have to PVP, no one makes you do it ( I certainly suck at it). Similarly, I can't get a Decent raid group together, but that doesn't mean I go running saying "Give me raid weapons." When you choose not to seriously participate in an aspect of a game that means that you make the conscious decision to exclude yourself from the rewards associated with it. Why should those who put the effort in, in a game designed to grind, be punished by handing you the player who didn't, a powerful weapon that they worked hard for?

I play mainly PvE, and this is one of the most pathetic things I have ever read in my life. Just because someone is better than you doesnt mean they are "bullying" you. -blam!-ing hell, grow a pair.

Sorry. I disagree. If someone is willing to put in the grind for The Luna’s Howl, they deserve to dominate me with it in PvP. Everyone has the same opportunity to get the weapon, you just have to suffer for it. I have played 1 competitive match since picking up the quest, probably not going to play another unless my clan mates ask me to. I hate competitive because each match is sooooo long. Really needs to be best of 3, not 5. Or just completely survival, 1 life per guardian. But seriously, these weapons are rewards for those who put in the grind, not for everyone. If you’re a person like me who is more oriented to play PvE rather than PvP, you don’t need Luna’s Howl, there are plenty of great weapons for PvE play.

Both guns are PVP pinnacle weapons and you're asking it to be earned through PVE? I sense no logic in that. I'd be more than happy to play 40 matches of Rumble instead of Gambit to earn Breakneck but no, we have to do what we have to do, get it?

The fact that this community whine about anything makes me surprised that they do care. PvE for me, barely induces rage. Because ads are predicable. Other people though? 2 RepliesIf you want to obtain a PVP pinnacle weapon, having it be obtainable through PVE is highly counterintuitive. It’s not hard to get, and only shines in PVP. If you want to experience the game in it’s entirety, then play the game. It’s not hard to get better at the Crucible. PVE has so much more available than the 4 pinnacle weapons that the crucible has. (5 if you count Broadsword). Just suck it up and play, and improve.

The thing is, before some players had Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten, they had to put up with facing these guns themselves, and then win against them, to get the weapon. Let me ask you a question. If I was good enough to earn Luna's Howl and then you were suddenly gifted Luna's Howl, do you think you're going to have a chance against me? If someone is good enough to get it, chances are they would have destroyed you even without it.

Just farm Gambit for a PvP roll Trust. Drop Mag and Kill Clip sounds good to me with maybe a range or stability masterwork. I don't know what the requirements are for LH and NF because I - as a PvE player - don't care, but I imagine that would probably make getting those weapons easier. Put in the work where it's needed to get the weapons you want.

You know you could actually play more pvp and try and become better at it🙄. I don’t have it but there is no way you should be able to obtain it through pve. I’m just an average player so IMO if you can’t play pvp for whatever reason, your shit at it,or u just straight up just don’t like that’s your fault and that weapon or weapons should not be be obtainable for you soz dude but how it is!!!

2 RepliesAbsolutely not. The point is that players are rewarded for their skill and dedication. I will fight tooth and nail for D2 to not return to a snore-fest. Bungie have already given you pinnacle weapons for PvE and Gambit, that is an [i]entirely[/i] fair compromise.

I am soooooo sick of every other time I get killed in crucible it’s by Luna..... wish I had one. But it IS a PvP weapon so having to do PvP to get it makes sense.

Fabled is the only hard step because it relies on teammate RNG and reliability, so if you don't go in stacked, you're in for a headache. And it isn't a team weapon its your weapon, so it is it is inherently out of place. So if your clan doesn't want to play, you're doing lfg and look how angry and childish the general PvP community is here, no one has time to deal with that. Every other step is easy.

If bungie handed it out through PvEasy It would make my grind essentially meaningless. MAYBE if it was locked behind a prestige raid, it would be halfway worth potentially entertaining the idea. 3 RepliesI understand where you're coming from, but that's never gonna happen. From one PvE player to another... I understand your pain. However, Luna and NF are [b]Pinnacle Weapons[/b]. They represent more than just the functionality that they provide. They are trophies for outstanding achievement in Competitive Crucible. To provide another way to get them would cheapen the experience. That being said... PvE players are still waiting for their own pinnacle weapon to go after. [i]Hint, hint Bungie...[/i]

The match-making is the issue not the guns. You can thank Bungo for catering to their influencers for the state of that.

3 RepliesLuna's is trash in PvE, it's only good in PvP. If you want to use a pinnacle weapon in PvE, use breakneck it's so much better. People might use Luna's in PvE, but there are so many better options.
