Competitive isn't about how well you can use your primary, but how well you can use the Wardcliff Coil.
The accessibility to heavy ammo made sense when secondaries where in the power slot, but that's not the case anymore.
If this post gains traction, the ninjas will move it to "feedback" to bury it. They will claim a post about the crucible isn't related to the crucible section. They might even cynically make it a spoiler for me to read. However, I'll continue posting until they ban me for it.
Edit: Bungie just addressed this.

2 Repliesyes, let's do that because the mountaintop quest will be much easier then.

And not enough heavy in PvE.
-
Being changed soon. 👍

This was addressed in today's TWaB; concrete plans to lessen heavy in comp. Good stuff.
-
I thought there was a gentleman's agreemant tht heavy is not to be grabbed in comp. Just shoot everyone a quick message. I think most would go along.

4 RepliesWhy bother complaining... bungo won’t listen to your request unless the fan base goes nuts

It's kind of crazy, I see people getting heavy within the first 15 seconds of the games, that's ridiculous
-
Git gud
-
Facts. No matter the gamemode comp is always king of the heavy as a primary objective
-
Now that we have Thunderlord (and other Machine Guns to come) it's ridiculous to have this much Power ammo in Competitive. I'm just as guilty as others who use this but there are some days when the Luna's and Telesto's are just too much lol
-
The funny thing is: in pve isnt enough heavy ammo.

1 ReplyBeen saying this forever I’m starting to think they don’t care:/

It's utterly ridiculous that bungo has not made this change
