Why can't I surrender?
So I just got out of a comp game where I joined and I was the only person on my team, Idk if the enemy team booted them or what but I left and to my knowledge if you leave a number of times you get suspended, which I understand but how come the game allows me to stay in a 1v4 in comp, especially countdown. Is there some sort of surrender thing I have yet to discover because if so I think it should be added into comp/

4 RepliesThe Glory system is made for full teams. I honestly dont see Bungie ever doing anything to help solo players retain Glory. It keeps me out of Crucible, but I'm sure thats also what Bungie wants.

1 ReplyBungie's fairness policies 1. -blam!- you 2. If you find yourself in a situation our bad game design created, see rule 1 3. Quitting is bad, regardless of cause. It puts an undue burden on the remaining players and negatively affects their gameplay. Unless you're in strikes, then it's OK to quit as often as you'd like.

The things I would do for a surrender/forfeit option! Doing that horrid grind for Luna and game after game just getting my ass handed to me. I think I'm pretty average and make no excuses for my share in the poor scores, but when winning is the only option and I'm being forced to play comp, I would love the option to throw in the towel and not waste any more of my time in a match that I or my team clearly have no chance in

6 RepliesBest way to have fun in 1v4: 1. Upon respawn, go directly to edge of map. 2. When enemy approaches, jump to your death. 3. Rinse and repeat. It will drive the enemy team bonkers.

That's actually a really good idea...sucks being stuck in a game in that situation...so not only do you.know you are gonna lose the points, you have to sit and wait 10 minutes for it yo happen...bungie, this should be a thing at least for now, until you figure out a fix for these things

Should’ve been more clear my bad . 1v4 is no fun So I was alone . Went and danced for a while then the flow of 4 guardians came in to mop up . I camped heavy got a few cheap shots in but still failed miserably . The game shouldn’t be able to progress at that point . Sad that their bs p2p can’t figure that out .

Happened to me when I was doing that comp intro quest. Started a match, soon all 3 team mates quit because the opposing team was stomping us. I stayed because I needed the completion for the quest (and I've never quit a Crucible game anyway). I just sat at spawn and emoted at the opposing team. After a couple of minutes of non-stop killing me they started waving back. Just mercy the match if the majority of the opposing team quits.

Bungo should seriously consider taking notes from Overwatch or something when it comes to this kind of BS. Especially when players leave either while your loading in or at the start of a match.

There should be a surrender option or the game should pause and fill the teams.

5 Repliesthat is a superb idea. it would save both good and bad players. also a 1v4 is impossible to win unless its survival or clash, theres no point staying.
