What these 40 Gambit matches are forcing teams to do
Some afk at worst but for most it goes like this. Lose the first round? Well we better lose the second too because I'm not playing 3 rounds when I need 40 matches. So we throw the game... Bad foresight on this one Bungo. Hell I might just go for pure kills and never pick up a mote or worry about the bosses and once I'm done all the auto shit I will be able to have a dance party for the remaining 10-20 matches.

I’m just working on getting kills with different weapons for triumphs lol but I still want to win to rank infamy quicker

They need to learn that they should make the objective of the game mode what you need to accomplish. I stopped picking up motes cause running to turn them in is time I can be shooting things with ARs. Two rounds and out is the goal.

As bad as the matchmaking is, especially with no solo queue, I can't say I blame people for not giving a damn. Why get frustrated by the act of trying to win when you get the tick mark for just farting on a snare drum? I will most likely try to do the dailies and then maybe try to help win if it looks like MM didn't screw me over again.

Problem with gambit is the meta. Takes 1 week to develop 1 year for bungie to change it

Why do you play with quitters or AFK people? You should play with better team mates if you want to win.

I won’t go total AFK because I have my principles but I’m definitely focusing on bounties or kills. If it’s any consolation... I’m sorry.

3 RepliesEven when this isn't the case, the catch up mechanics almost force teams into a 3 round match. Even when one team is clearly dominating. I have seen it end in 2, but that's an exception to the norm.
