Some afk at worst but for most it goes like this. Lose the first round? Well we better lose the second too because I'm not playing 3 rounds when I need 40 matches. So we throw the game... Bad foresight on this one Bungo. Hell I might just go for pure kills and never pick up a mote or worry about the bosses and once I'm done all the auto shit I will be able to have a dance party for the remaining 10-20 matches.

Just loose on purpose. My record so far is losing 78 motes.

I'll never understand why I can't put the D2 disc into the PS4 and play, but I can come to these forums, read the posts and lmao. If I could/ would actually play D2, i'm sure the game would have me laughing as much as these forums.

It’s hilarious how much efforts people like you put in to not see the wood for the trees. Let me help you: WORKING AS INTENDED
-
At this time and this time only i will stay against a team that's spanking me because I just want this to be as painless as possible. -blam!- the wins, just get this shit done.

Edited by WalnutSolid391: 12/4/2018 6:21:18 AMI like Gambit ,but I think it would be better if it were 1 round.I also saw players using sweet business and losing motes like crazy, not to mention losing the game.I don't see how many people do not use a masterworked weapons in Gambit to drop orbs.I wish there were better stat showing screens like in strikes...Orbs created.I always use mastwork in 1st 2 slots ,an AR and a sidearm the color of whatever shield might show up.When I get matched with players not using guns that don't drop orbs,we usually lose.

3 RepliesEdited by GozerTheGozerian: 12/4/2018 3:39:09 AMReduce Gambit to one round. It takes too long to complete a match when you play 3 rounds. It's a waste of time
-
40 matches aint that much but for some people Gambit is so damn boring and games take to long to complete
-
3 RepliesForce no, it's a choice . 40 matches is hardly that many but it's the fact people want everything now now now .
-
2 RepliesSad but true. I completed the autorifle work in about 15 matches, but I used the opportunity to experiment in Gambit with different weapon combos. It was enlightening, but I was glad to have it over.
-
You are a fool. Go play a different game
-
Guess I haven't seen this yet, had meatball twice now and both times my team had "come to life" and magically won both rounds. I play to play so no worries either way, yeah its frustrating when afk's take over but its whatever, its destiny, its expected.

8 RepliesI refuse to ruin a match for others for my own gain. I always play the objective win or lose. These weapon quests are not meant to be done in a day but over the course of the season which realistically could be done in 8 days with 5 matches a day which isn’t exactly pushing it. I feel bad for any of those who are impacted by this method to accrue a weapon they will probably vault.

2 Repliesgambit should be ONLY one round if we lose the first round I pray to god nobody on our team try hards for the win on the 2nd round. Just not worth the time. 3 round activities are utterly inefficient when it comes to the redonk grinds in this game

3 RepliesThe problem is, and I say this as a purely solo player, Bungie can't be held accountable for you not creating a fire team to have the best overall experience. You can't fix how people decide they want to play as a solo. There is almost no incentive to win in Gambit so you are always going to have people throwing matches or playing whatever objective they feel like if they aren't pat of a pre-made team that can kick people. On the other hand, if you incentive winning like you do in Competitive, no one will play Gambit (as low as 2% of people play Competitive). Bungie is in a position of not being able to please both sides. If you solo into Gambit, you have to take whatever comes. It's just the reality that we have to accept. There are probably some things they could still tweak to make the experience a bit better, but some of these core issues will never be fixed.

3 RepliesThe problem here is non objective requirements on Quests and Bounties. Don't make completions a requirement. Make wins a requirement. This is happening a lot on Quests and Bounties, even triumphs are focused on selfish gameplay. You should be rewarded for teamplay and winning, it makes the quests more enjoyable, gameplay more rewarding and you are more likely to make more friends when you play well with others. It has me baffled why they keep adding non objective requirements.

I mean sure if you wanna be that guy. I haven’t ran into this problem at all though.
-
Should have done the 50 points. 3 for a win. 1 for a loss.
-
2 RepliesThis is why it should be win 20 matches instead of complete 40

1 ReplyFinished in couple of days, played for hours and hours. Now im so fed up that im not playng gambit again until i need too... Horrible horrible quest. Was lucky, no afk'ers as i noticed. But Gambit needs to be one round only!

2 RepliesAll these folks on the forums make me laugh. If Bungo would have required even 1 win the forums would erupt in discontent and screamed for boycotts and mutiny. I don’t see anywhere in the quest steps that this has to be done in a week. The season lasts until the end of February. I think the majority of players will get there by then. Of course then we will see people complaining that they’re at 37 matches and that there wasn’t enough time to do it. I currently have 17 and am not sweating it one bit. I played strikes with a guy who had it and I beat him by something like 30 kills with the horror story.

1 ReplyI was just thinking about doing this today as I’m getting so sick of gambit!
-
I'm glad I wasnt the only one getting afk players
-
Despite the quest, I was able to play and slay like usual with my sweet business and rig. Everyone around me tho...could do better
-
Might as well use the kills to complete some catalysts if you have any to do
-
2 RepliesThey can’t control what lazy people do.

Every single match to get to 40bwent the distance. EVERY....SINGLE....MATCH!!!
