I've decided to stop playing this game today.
After having played countless hours of crucible I've finally decided I don't need the frustration of this game. I play video games to escape the reality of society being comprised of brainless followers and people out to intentionally ruin any amount of fun you could possibly have. Upon loading up destiny after working a 12 hour day (and waiting 10 minutes for the character select screen to load) I jump into the crucible and start grinding for one of the four weapons in the game worth a hoot (Luna's Howl). I'm greeted with 10 consecutive matches of competitive composed of copied and pasted guardians with nearly IDENTICAL cheesy/spammy meta loadouts. As you all know I'm sure, matches and spending a lot of time in orbit is never fun just to be met with this experience. It all amounts to a massive waste of time and a feeling of being punished for using anything that isn't meta. So needless to say I'm done with this game and it's toxic, teabagging, and secularly minded community. ALSO I know not everyone is like this, just a very large portion of the community, and for those that aren't part of the toxicity and brainlessness, I feel for you and wish you the best in your future grinding endeavors.

3 RepliesDude you just want an excuse to bitch. Don’t worry I get it we all get it. Sometimes I want to bitch too, I mean I try to make it nuanced bitching but you get the point. Yeah destiny gets old sometimes but you don’t catch me making a post about it before I piss off to go play some Doom or something. If bitching is your goal then just bitch, if this really is your final day then just leave. All you’re doing here is coming off as some kind of overly dramatic child.

Spent over 25 hours this weekend in competitive and it was a complete waste of time. (Luna’s Howl). Hunters are spammed beyond belief. “Matchmaking” is awful. The abuse by other’s manipulating game -more than one guardian literally teleported (not referringof Hunters ability) as I was shooting at them is MAJOR issue. PLUS, you get SHIT for winning 5 in row. Not understanding why this exists??? When new season begins Tuesday, Glory ranks reset to ZERO. Nice slap in face Bungie! Rage quitters should be penalized for minimum of day, not 30 minutes!

I actually enjoy crucible...correct me if I’m wrong..but isn’t there other things to do in this game besides crucible?gambit,run strikes,raid etc. with all that being said..I can’t find a game that I actually like to stick with because it’s a lot of things to do i this game(until red dead comes out with online play..lol)anyway..good luck on your future gameplay on whatever other games you play..peace

Well said Hemoplasm ....D2 crucible in both competitive and quickplay lists have become nothing more than a cesspit of toxic people , players purposely setting out to ruin the others gameplay .. Same hand cannons , telesto etc etc used to pub stomp casuals on quickplay list or just to ruin others experiences in comp list constantly not just a one off like some would have you believe .. Crucible is only a few powerful engrams a week so it can easily be left out of your gameplay even if you still need to hit 600.. Once crucible dies maybe then Bungie might pay attention..
