Experienced some first hand racism at the hands of another D2 player today. Reported the account but as i dont have the battle tag im not sure what else i can do here. I wonder if this behaviour is acceptable by bungie and Deej

Cheating isn't cool ;) So, I think, racism is better than people like you :)

Actually I have met some , in 3 different severs as well. For most of the time I don't know what that word means so I just kept moving on until some time later I googled it. Funny is sometimes that word doesn't exists at all. The best to do against racism ? Perhaps you just simply ignore them, see it as if it didn't exist. Pity them, these people never know how this world is getting bigger and closer now.

Just report/block them. Xbox is pretty quick with communication bans at least, especially if it’s in a text chat. Even if he’s not banned, block them and it’s basically the same on your end

1 ReplyEdited by spaceboundnoob: 11/21/2018 1:44:23 PMI wouldn't know who to ban.. The racist or the salty losing crybaby. Both. Yes, both

Edited by Vegan Superhero: 11/23/2018 6:32:07 PMOne time a kid called me (nword) in the stairwell but you don't see me complaining about it. It was funny because he was mentally challenged.

24 RepliesIf you put a bunch of Asians on an island, you get Japan. If you put a bunch of whites on an island you get Britain. If you put a bunch of blacks on an island you get Haiti. No predominantly black country exists without support. These are facts.
I await my SJW report and ban
This is why I don't ever buy racing games

42 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 11/21/2018 1:55:37 PMReport and move on. 1. This is why Bungie was reluctant to add chat to the game. Because of pathetic idiots like this. 2. You aren't going to change people like this. Like schoolyard bullies they are miserable, unhappy people, and so the only way they can make themselves feel less miserable is by trying to make other people around them as unhappy as they are. No one wakes up one morning and decides to start thinking and talking like this. Someone like that was raised in an environment where that kind of thinking and speaking was at least tolerated....if not actually MODELLED and promoted to them. 3. Unfortunately this kind of crap has always been a part of life here in the US. It had just been driven underground by the fact that people were becoming less tolerant of it. But we now have a President who is himself an idiot and an unapologetic bigot, and is deliberately stoking the fires of this kind of stuff as means to personal power for himself. So, unfortunately, you have people who are feeling emboldened to "show their own ass" like this, perhaps because they see him doing it without any consequences (for now). Bottomline. Their attitude isn't YOUR problem. It isn't your responsibility to police it. Only protect yourself FROM it.

4 RepliesSorry. I’m racist. “TITAN MASTER RACE!” “...HoooAhhh!!!”
-
Oh no. Racism exists? Shit. That’s just like, mind boggling

It's like that old saying goes. "Dont burn plastic if you're gonna put your jeans on."

You wouldn’t last a minute in a mw2 lobby.

Start doing what I do. I give them an airport to fly into and tell them I’ll pick them up and we can duke it out. And I leave my comment at that. They never respond because they just like to shit talk... (they aren’t actually tough)

3 RepliesY’all gamers these days are pus*ys man up.

Why are people downvoting?

“911 is bad” Yaaaaaaaay!

i am sorry for your experience, and it is shitty. but, its nothing new really> its all over. deal with it i guess? well name calling is one thing, acting out violently and vindictively is another. also, Goatse would have destroyed your life back in the day if this is troubling you.

21 RepliesEdited by tactlock: 11/21/2018 7:00:44 PMIt’s sad and pathetic, but it’s not isolated. Old racist white dudes figured out how to manipulate white, male gamers long ago. Just google Steve Bannon and video games and a ton of articles pop up detailing how easy it was to brainwash the little dullards. If you’ve ever used terms like “snowflake” “safe space” “entitled” or “participation trophy” then sadly you’ve let old, alt-right white dudes forcibly -blam!- your feeble little brain. These terms were studied, tested on focus groups, and used on control groups to figure out which were the most effective at making alt-right values seem cool, and liberal ideology seem uncool. -blam!-in sad, man. Plus, this post will be shut down soon because naming a racist is worse than being a racist on this forum. Edit: 🤷🏻♂️ it’s genuinely amusing for me to see people get bent out of shape and claim that I’m the snowflake. For those claiming I’m being racist for targeting white gamers, I’m literally referencing the terminology used by the people targeting white male gamers. So... yeah. Not much I can do about that.

4 RepliesIn other news, the sky is blue, grass is green, and a penny saved is a penny earned. Report/block them and move on. Coming to the forum to proclaim how needy and woke you are is unnecessary.

Welcome to the “wonderful community of destiny”. I’m against racism but there’s always going to be that guy.

Shocker.

I experienced racism back in D1. I haven’t so much in D2, but presumably because I’ve played much less. Sometimes I think that I’ve been treated poorly because of my race, but I also think that this community is just piss-poor. I’ve thought about making my own clan just to vet people before playing with them on a long-term basis, but this game just isn’t worth it. Ultimately, this ongoing trend of games-as-service will only serve to exclude people like me. I don’t think that Bungie really cares, but neither do I. For my part, I just don’t play as much anymore, and I won’t be purchasing any other “expansions” in the near future. I’ll do what I’ve always done, which is to check in from time to time.

Congratulations, you turned this place into a political shitshow...
