I am receiving an error message upon booting into the game and getting to the orbit/game director screen which tells me that my NAT is set to a "strict" mode and made impede performance of the game. I can play the game fine, but load times when switching planets and whatnot are fairly long. Not sure if that's due to the NAT issue or just how the game is.
I have tried using the NAT guide on the Bungie website for this issue, but nothing I do for port forwarding seems to get this message to go away.
My router is an ASUS RT-N66U. I am operating on the latest firmware and I use the stock GUI. The manual for this router doesn't really mention anything about handling port forwarding, but I do know it's an option and I've found it under the WAN tab, but putting in the information for the ports listed on Bungie's NAT help page doesn't yield any results.
Anyone with this router or another similar router know how I can finally fix this issue once and for all?
Thanks

1 ReplyIf you still need help contact me. I use an ASUS RT-N66R , which strangely has a different look and letter but from a technical standpoint, is the exact same router.
