It's total RNG. Some people have had horrible luck, but I've picked up 5 of the new exotics (not including quest stuff like AoS and TLord), and 4-5 previous exotics at higher light. Got Black Talon and Lord of Wolves in the same day, and I play at least a few times a week. You just gotta be lucky.

"Few times a week" you just said it and still dont get it do ya? You are a casual player and get rewards while the hardcore everyday players get squat

"At least a few times a week" means 4-5 times a week including weekends. I probably spend about 10-12 hours a week on this game. Sorry I don't "get it", I have enough of a life outside of this game that I gotta pay attention too.
