How to get your FIRST Forsaken EXOTIC
Take a damn break.
No seriously, it works.
I took a break and returned and got Two-Tailed Fox from the Flashpoint reward.
My brother has done it multiple times and has gotten Wavesplitter and Queenbreakers in [u][b]one day[/b][/u]. He’s also gotten Trinity Ghoul and some others.
It doesn’t sound like it makes sense, but if you really think about it, it does...
I grinded my a** off in the first couple days of Forsaken-got nothing. Many others have been in the same boat as me. Then, people have been saying that their [u]friends that barely play are getting new exotics (my friend got Shards of Galanor and only has one character at about 505 light.)[/u].
This is such a Bungie thing to do. Reward players who barely play so they are enticed to play more. And don’t reward grinders and players who play daily so they tell themselves “if I keep playing, I’ll eventually get one”.
Maybe I’m delusional, or maybe I’m right. All I know is I’m sittin here with my first forsaken exotic while others have none.
So take a break, and get some exotics.

Edit 3: I see many people asking how long a break you should take-when I got TT fox, I took a 3 day break. I played some GTA V with my brother and some battlefront 2.
My brother however took a week break and got wavesplitter and queenbreakers.
In conclusion, higher break, higher reward. If you don’t mind straying away from Destiny, then 1 week break is for you. If you like looking forward to your daily [u]shooting shït in the face[/u], then take a shorter break.

It really isn't meant to be a reward/enticement thing as much as it is a balance thing . RNG isn't as simple as don't login for a bit and get something or grind grind grind luckbox something, it's a complex script meant to balance rewards .

Good idea. Take a break and play some D1. Kinda miss the cosmodrome and dreadnaught anyhow. Havent kicked the dark knight around in quite some time.

4 RepliesIt’s so random all this is just superstition at this point. The update really did help though I went from 2 exotics to basically almost all weapons but Cerberus and 1000 and have geomag twice in the same strike and just got ursa this morning off a powerful reward.

After two months later, Nov 14, 2018. i got two of exotic Chromatic Fire and Contraverse Hold. It has been A TWO months i didnt get exotic after few days ago i got it. P.S. JUST BE PATIENT

I've always suspected that RNG leans more towards people who don't play as much to keep em coming back. My friend (who played on my console during weekends only) got the shards of Galanor, trinity ghoul and the -blam!-ing meatball when the curse was at its weakest so I decided not to play a week. I thought it was suppose to be a shotgun, but is a useless auto rifle that biggest perk is that it uses all these barrels instead of perks. It reminds me of all the whites, greens and blues you get when your are level 1-49. Edit: 2nd gambit match. Black Talons
