So i was looking through some stuff in d2 and noticed that we d1 players only got some emblems, no ship no sparrow just some emblems and thought it would be cool if we got something else to show that we’ve been playing this game for years and thought of the seals.
Lately I’ve noticed a few players with the dredgen Titel and was thinking it would be nice if we d1 players would get a seal to show that we are veterans.
Now this is just a idea and some people might agree or disagree with this idea but hell bungie might see this. (probably not)

1 ReplyFor D1 vets titles would be acceptable similar to cursebreaker and the like: Adept Kingslayer Lord/Lady Etc

Edited by LivingLegend: 11/12/2018 7:54:15 PMAbsolutely. And if they do, they definitely need to make it possible to link your old console account to your pc account, so you can still get the title if you switched over to pc. If not a title it would be nice if they gave us back the veteran emblems like the "Be Brave" emblem from D1.

11 RepliesIt should require one of the following: -Full completion of Age of Triumph book (up to level 7 that is) OR because people didn't get Rise of Iron because you needed a next gen console: -Full completion of Taken King's triumph book For those of you who don't remember the Taken King one required: -50 Calcified Fragments -Hard Mode King's Fall clear -Exotic Sword -Dreadfang (Came from the April Update quest from Variks) -Challenge of Elders clear (Came from the April Update quest from Variks) -Completing the Crucible quest (It was pretty grindy considering you had to do every quest before it) So this Triumph book was by no means a participation trophy, I did not run into many players who had completed everything. I would say about 10% of the players I ran into from the April Update to the end of D1 had completed everything in the book while it was active.

4 RepliesI want a seal for having played Pac-man on first release. Thing however is just like having played D1 that nobody cares.

7 RepliesEdited by Subsistence_Sasquatch: 11/11/2018 6:15:17 AMSeals have Titles and a Title is a bit too much, bud. You got exclusives for D1 already. If you got Forsaken and played before then, you'll get more "veteran" exclusives soon as well. If you happen to do or put time into finding plsyers for Refer-a-friend program, there's exclusives there as well

5 RepliesCall the title "Forever 29" or "Sepiks Defeated" or "Ghally United" or "Crota's Scrota" or "Triumphant Persistent Loyalist".

3 RepliesI don't know about a veteran seal, it would have the vibe of Seniors in high school thinking they're better than the Freshman. But I wish they had some sillier, easier-to-obtain titles; they could even be blue or white so as to not clash with the purple font, in case people complained about that (you know they would).
-
2 Repliescool idea but it wouldn’t work. seals are supposed to show your expertise in a specific field of the game and the grind you put into it, but if there was a veteran seal earned by completing various things in destiny 1 then most of the playerbase would just get a free seal right away, and considering seals are endgame grind (at least in my opinion) this would be counterintuitive.
-
Just use the emblem you get to show you played D1 in Y1. If you're that insecure about when you started playing and need people to know, you've got bigger issues bud.
-
Ive played D1 and i honestly couldnt care less for a "veteran status", it does not in anyway make you any more special than a person who has only played D2, the title would just be an ego trip for the virgins who like to boast they have played since day1 D1

“Elder of Light”

Just need 1 bone for cursebreaker and few more invade kills for dredgen. Already have wayfarer. Would rock d1 vet seal all the time if they put it in. Literally done and have everything in d1 😬
-
You know, that would actually be an amazing idea. Would respect the D1 fan base. Just a title "veteran". I like it
-
No participation trophies, only for players who finished the age of triumph book up to the final emblem.
-
Only if it was for people that actually finished that triumph book. Shouldn’t be for anyone who just owned d1

3 RepliesI’m really not understanding all this love/need for titles and emblems, is this a young desire? Kind of like if I have more than ten followers on social media I’m a celebrity?
-
1 ReplyI think it’d be a great idea to get titles related to our achievements in Destiny 1. So Hive Bane, Young Wolf etc
