That press conference was disgraceful.
He lied throughout it, and then after everything else, had the gall to remove Acosta’s ability to attend press briefings.
Then he fires Jeff Sessions, only to replace him with someone who is going to attempt to obstruct the Russia Probe.
That’s obstruction of justice. And it’s a crime.
He’s losing it.

10 Replieshttps://www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/tv/z-on-tv-blog/bs-ae-zontv-trumpvpress-20170304-story.html It has not yet come close to doing what President Obama's administration did in making the act of reporting itself criminal behavior in a case that started in 2009 under the Espionage Act of 1917. Emails later obtained by Judicial Watch about the matter included this one from Obama press secretary Josh Earnest to a Treasury Department spokesperson, saying, "We've demonstrated our willingness and ability to exclude Fox News from significant interviews…" The Treasury Department exclusion was part of a larger war that the Obama administration declared on Fox in October 2009 when Stephanie Cutter, White House communications director, went on CNN to denounce Fox as a "wing of the Republican Party" and say that the White House was going to stop treating them as a "news network." Risen, a Puilitzer Prize winner, doesn't need me to make his case. Read his Times article published Dec. 30, 2016, under the headline: "If Donald Trump targets journalists, thank Obama." And no one on the left batted an eye when this was happening....

38 RepliesIf that incident happened in Britain there would be riots. We recognise this type of behaviour from history. Small steps to a dictatorship. Take away the presses freedom. Silence the voices they don’t like. Then manipulate what is being said.

12 RepliesI also like how he reffered to himself as a "Nationalist" at a campaign rally and then called a reporter racist for asking him about it. It's like how dare you ask me about something I said.
-
3 RepliesFar from it. He is getting rid of all the people ruining this country. Also, Obama lost it in his presidency also. When about 45% of America don’t like you, you’d also lose it.

1 ReplyWhy are people whining about Acosta getting banned from the White House while journalists trying to cover the Florida Election are being threatened with arrest! Acosta doesn't have a right to a White House Press pass. CNN can send anyone else but him. In Florida nobody can cover the ballot counting! https://youtu.be/DpAV0yN57Mk

7 RepliesCNN will be better off with someone more professional taking that spot. Acosta was known for being disruptive and grandstanding. He's supposed to report the news, not generate it.
-
1 ReplyHe didn't fire Jeff Sessions, Sessions stepped down on his own accord, stop believing fake news. Besides, we got a better attorney general who does power cleans anyways.

I think we can agree the whole world is losing it. Things need to change across the board in human society as a whole.

4 RepliesThat press conference was funny as shit, trump told it how it was! No filter

7 RepliesAll of our presidents have been liars, cheats and crooks in one fashion or another. Trump, is just transparently so. He doesn't have the polished speech skills that come from being lawyers previous to being president as Clinton and Obama had. He doesn't have to good ol' boy charm that Carter and both Bush's had. And, even though he's of similar age he doesn't portray the caring grandfather image that Reagan did. He's just blunt, assertive, hard nosed and just stupid enough to have no door between his brain and his mouth.
The US Government is friggin' broken foundation funded this message.
7 RepliesFor a person who touts how much he hates fake news, he and his administration seems to love putting out fake news to ensure that his supporters remain in the dark permanently. I saw the doctored video, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it was intentionally faked to ensure that Acosta looked bad. People outside of Trump's influence have seen the discrepancy already (and if people watched the live recording of it, Sarah Sanders is flat out lying), and have called him out on it. His mouth-breathing supporters most likely don't give a shit though. If it makes Trump look bad, they think it's fake. If it makes Trump look good (and rarely anything reported on both mainstream and even off-the-cuff media makes Trump look good), they will believe it. That's why they tend to view tabloids and fake news like Breitbart as real, while saying stuff like AP is fake.

1 ReplyEdited by ALIAS-F4LS: 11/9/2018 1:54:46 AMSite your sources. For all I know you could be copying an Alex Jones script. Really, what is up with you political posters and flooding Offtopic without even an attempt to back your own claims? That's the only advice I'm giving.

2 RepliesFunny. I thought Dems wanted Jeff to resign, why do you guys always complain when you get what you want? http://time.com/4688406/jeff-sessions-chuck-schumer-nancy-pelosi-resign/ https://www.cbsnews.com/news/poll-says-majority-of-americans-want-jeff-sessions-to-resign/

11 RepliesIf you think Acosta and the media aren’t as much to blame for the rising tensions in this as trump is you’re kidding yourself. Acosta thinks he a crusader trying to fight the tyranny that is trump. Trump lies and the media lies. you can’t speculate what trump is going to do, also this investigation has been going for two years and nothing about trump has come up. Trump lies all the time but his legislation is fine. Republicans held the all branches of government for two years there aren’t concentration camps for gays, we aren’t committing mass executions of illegal immigrants, we haven’t started another war, abortion is still legal and the economy is booming, everything is going to be fine.

I cannot believe Trump did this. Kicking that guy out for being a little loud, then using his position over him to shut him down? Disgraceful. If Trump cannot handle people interrupting him, that is really bad. Disgusting. https://www.cnn.com/2015/06/24/politics/obama-heckler-white-house-lgbt/index.html

Honestly, quite a few of the U.S. presidents have been bad. And, if it’s any consolation, Kanye said he’s running in 2020.
Please, keep politics out of OffTopic. This place should not be an absolute sh*thole.
2 RepliesGood. Acosta is more of a CNN clown, not a journalist. The Russia probe ending is also good to hear. 2 years of this pseudo-cold war nonsense since day 1 of the Democrats monumental failure, is enough. Such a waste of money...
