For month now I'm getting disconnected with "Error reading game content".
Not too bad at first, it happen once or twice per session but it got worse; A LOT.
Now I can't play at all. As soon as I try to start an activity, I get disconnected with "error reading game content".
I'm on a wired connection and have no issues with other games and AAA titles.
I tried:
Checked router, cables, ping test - all good
Scan & Repair - no effect
Clean install of D2 and Blizz app - no effect
Checked all drivers - all good and current
Disabled all apps running in the back ground (even my firewall) - no effect
I followed your network guide, optimization guide, and advanced troubleshooting guide (although it's only D2 no other game has any issues) - no effect
Tested all hardware - no effect
I did a clean install of Win 10 & D2 on my laptop with nothing but the OS and game and necessary drivers - NO EFFECT. still crashing.
I don't know what else to do
To say I'm frustrated is the understatement of the year and right now I'm at the point, although I like the game and would play it IF I COULD, I wish I could get a refund.
Any ideas???
