Why is broadsword quest 5x more lengthy and time consuming than the Luna quest. Really messed up
The list of steps goes on forever for the broadsword. The Luna grind is hard but at least doable and not to hard to keep focused on. The Broadsword quest is sooooooo stupid. The steps are so repetitive and have nothing to do with pulse rifles. Like do you really need 3 quests in one??? Wtf were you thinking Bungie. Broken

Broadsword is a time-investment grind. Luna is a skill-barrier.

1 ReplyIt's supposed to be infuriating and lengthy as hell for a reason. I can imagine they will do the same for lunas in the next season. People who want the gun and hate competitive have an opportunity to get it. The solo players have a chance to get it without relying on everyone. The quest is that long so that if you wanted the gun it's not just handed to you for it, you actually have to work for it like I did.

10 RepliesI ignored the broadsword quest and was focused more on the raid. It doesn't take that long to do the broadsword just time consuming. However, the Luna's Howl isn't so bad until you need to reach Fabled. Now, there are host of a 4 man crew out there manipulating the competitive match making by giving a black screen to everyone even the opponents. The opponents will think something is wrong with their PS4 thus restarting it. Once they leave that host starts the competitive match allowing their team to win once entering the map. A player I once knew was doing this for the Not Forgotten quest. He doesn't want to work hard to get that weapon. Will Bungie fix this or look into it? Probably not.

1 ReplyThe Broadsword quest is honestly more chill than Luna and I guarantee the only reason it is a lengthy as it is was because all the people who got the Claymore felt they were being "cheated" or disgraced because Bungie promised it was gonna remain locked behind season 3 as an exclusive. Just go check some of the "elites" complaining when Bungie first announced it was gonna be a quest weapon in season 4... Jimmies were rustled real good.

The reason it is a long quest was to give the weapon a higher honor status as it was supposed to be a year 1 specific weapon and go away after that but too many people didn’t have it so they made the quest easier but longer so that people can still attain redrix but it requires commitment.

It’s just time consuming. Not hard whatsoever - keep grinding the steps. Luna is a skill barrier like mentioned. You have to do things that take Precision and skill.
