A question for the insane liberals who somehow think trump needs to take responsibility for the recent bomb scares:
Is it Democrats fault 4 African Americans kidnapped a white special needs man and live streamed his torture for several hours on Facebook?
Is it Democrats fault somebody tried to assassinate trump?
Is it Democrats fault somebody shot up one of trump's properties?
Is it Democrats fault somebody mailed white powder to, among other people, our defense secretary?
Is it Democrats fault somebody tried to shoot up a bunch of Republicans while they were playing baseball?
Is it Democrats fault that "activists" have gone out of their way to go assault people at political rallies hundreds of times now?
Whoever is responsible for this needs to be nailed to a wall.
That said, the way CNN is reacting to this and the double standard is absurd and pathetic.

American Politics has gotten far too tribal. I'll happily concede that both sides currently play to a hateful, divisive rhetoric. To a more or lesser degree, anyway. It certainly varies from campaign to campaign. It needs to stop though. "Winning" seems to matter more than caring for the people of the country.

I don’t think the Democrats are responsible for those things and I don’t think the Republicans (or Trump) are responsible for right wing terrorism. The people who commit violent acts are solely responsible for their own actions. But having said that - words have power. If you get up on a national stage and call the press “enemy of the people” and “fake news”, or call for your political opponents to be “locked up” then those words hold weight. They are going to have unintended and unforseen consequences. To try an claim the ultra-partisan rhetoric we’ve heard over the last few years hasn’t contributed to the massive partisan divisions that now exist is nonsense. I think Trump has built his presidency on throwing red meat to his base. He uses emotional language to stir up his supporters and create an “us and them” mentality. Democrats aren’t blameless either. They’ve allowed themselves to get baited by the rhetoric and have responded with extreme language of their own. I think both sides need to step back, calm down and return to a more sober style of politics. Unfortunately I can’t see that happening anytime soon.

1. That's multiple questions. Your title said you had only one question. Get your attack straight before you start it. 2.The person responsible for the bomb scares is the person who carried them out. Period. If the question is about radicalization, then I promise you - [b]I promise you[/b] - you don't want to have a battle. I don't want to waste the time, but if I need to, I can easily pull up the data showing that right-wing violence/harassment/etc. is far more common than left-wing, despite whatever fearmongering you've gotten about antifa. I don't want to do that, because I don't like turning actual terrorist issues into political fights between conservatives and democrats, but the data is clear. 3. Several of your cited incidents are just straight up misleading. 4. I don't get the complaint about CNN. They had to evacuate one of their buildings. How are they supposed to be reacting? You'd prefer it if they went and held a local rally outside one of their offices and stoked people's fears about mainstream media?

1 ReplyFirst, with regard to number one on your list, there was never an assertion that this act was related to any political philosophy. The people that did this did it because they are monsters plain and simple. Regarding, number 2, if someone tried to kill Trump as part of democratic plot, certainly Fox News would have reported it. Ive checked, and I can find no such report on Fox. As for 3-4, there has never been a claim that these acts were tied to a person who identified as a Dem. In fact, the brother of the shooter said his brother identified as Independent. Regarding 5, I assume by "assault" you mean that certain Republicans have been verbally accosted. While I do not in any way agree with the verbal confrontation of people while they are going about their private lives, the argument that a verbal confrontation is equivalent to sending a bomb is absolutely insane. Speech is protect by the constitution, mailing explosive devices is not. These acts are domestic terrorism plain and simple. This fact does not change because some on the right decide that it does based on some convoluted logic. Even President Trump has condemned these acts.

My personal favorite “hot topic” that I’ve read numerous times, is how all these “suspicious packages” are just set ups by the DEMONRAT, UNHOLY LIBTARDS to sway voters for the mid term election. Because, obviously, absolutely no one should disagree with Lord Trump the Messiah.
