Next week, Exotic rewards will be updated to favor items that you have not already acquired.
Duplicates can and will still happen, but at a much lower rate. The team has also made a change to duplicate drops, in that they will favor armor over weapons. This will help those who are searching for specific perk sets now that armor offers random rolls.
We'll have a bit more on this in the TWAB on Thursday. Stay tuned.

It's all good, and there's no reason to attack someone over a game. I'm only on people like neo-N@zis are on a tiki torch sale when they get nasty or insulting. Otherwise I would just like to see this game find that mythical and ever elusive balance where at least a majority of people are just enjoying themselves. I know that's likely asking too much, but therein lies my frustration with Bungie and Destiny - every time it feels like they get close to that butter zone, they break like 5 things that were working fine before.

your right, why did they patch the ability to get gear in 2 mins that normally requires a six man team and cooperation and 5-6 hours of their time. I played 1 crucible match therefor i should receive all exotics AND the luna's AND the redrix's AND 2 million dollars.

Nope, if you think about it. It's one of the easiest exotics to obtain in the game. It's drop is in a controlled environment, you can increase your chances by turning in 5 keys at once and even further the more chests are open before yours. Fact: You have a less odds of getting any specific world exotic that's is a rng drop. #Truth

Problem is it's too late. I'm already fed up with the grind and red dead is out this week. So your exotics can do one along with your next lot of costly dlc.
