9 waves of Haunted Forest, not a single brick of heavy for 2 people
Heavy ammo finder is just outright broken. Me and a clanmate (plus a random) got to wave 9. I have a mask with heavy ammo finder, a class item............clanmate had a class item.
Not. 1. Brick! Could they have fallen in the darkness of a corner without us seeing it? Sure. But 9 waves and not a single brick in front of us? Unless the random managed to find non-stop bricks yet rarely use his Wardcliff, it's a struggle every single run.
Bungie - Go back to a reliable heavy ammo drop system. Yellow bar enemies were fine. Ammo synthesis was fine. Perks on gear is not fine, since it's unreliable.

1 ReplyThere is a bug where if your mask has heavy ammo finder and another armor piece also has that perk then none will drop. Switch the other armor piece out

I've been wearing my mask with heavy finder, and pretty much going Tractor Cannon only. It's a lot of fun.

That's what happens when you speed run ahead. I've also heard if your mask has ammo dropper don't wear armor with heavy finder.

But a reddit post I read a couple days ago they are in fact glitched, A single Heavy ammo increase increases the drop rate by about 8% but any more and it doesn’t do anything.

Heavy drops just fine for me with a mask. Chances are you're walking past it in the dark, or it's falling off the map.

I swear, when I have none I never see a single brick, but the moment I have full ammo and no yellow enemy in sight it turns into a -blam!-ing purple festival.

I remember seeing on reddit that there is a glitch with heavy ammo finder and stacking the perks between the mask and any armor piece, which makes not a single drop of heavy appear. Whoops never mind forgot to read, ignore first question.
