Omg, the throwing hammer
I know I'm probably late with this, but the throwing hammer for Code of the Devastator is just silly. When I read it I thought, "huh, okay, so it'll smash someone's face in and whatnot", only for it to turn out to be a little hammer that goes "boop!". Like, I thought it'd be more dramatic or something, but no. Just "boop!". Spent a couple minutes just using the tiny hammer on a bunch of Cabal, laughing my ass off at the sillyness.
Been really annoyed with the game as a whole, but the Throwing Hammer of Boop was a good surprise, tbh.

4 RepliesI want an exotic that makes it boomerang back to you after a throw, maybe even letting it hit more guys on the way back. I just get too sad when I can't find it or whatever.

It's a lot of fun. I'll happily and unnecessarily work my way through a swarm of adds with it.

I was kinda hoping it would have a call back function like Kratos’ Leviathan Axe in God Of War, but I supposed that would be too close to a certain other hammer used by this one Marvel character. It would have been fun though.

3 RepliesIf you have two titans with code of the devastator on and one throws his hammer at the other while he doesn't have his melee charge he just absorbs the hammer and gets his melee back. Had me and some teammates running it in the raid just because of how funny that was

1 ReplyUse that class with the dunemarchers, builds up a charge and the hammer throw will do solar and arc damage and chain to near by enemies, its pretty fun to play with.

It causes damage on impact (often breaking shields) and usually bounces back to you. If you pick it back up, you can use it infinitely. No recharge. I love it! How is that lame?

Ive only done it with Warlocks so idk if its a weird hit box 2) Have the person look level (straight, not up or down) and to the left 3)Stand behind the person and throw the hammer between their left shoulder and head. Takes several tries. Try havin the person wear reviere armor as the spike is almost exactly where you should throw it It takes a while as the spot you need to hit is small but have fun with the results (if you cant do it send me a msg on PSN ill gladly show you)

It’s good, but I hate how it’s everything a Throwing Knife should’ve been. Literally the only thing the Throwing Knife has got going for it is the precision damage, and that ain’t saying a whole lot.

When they first teased it i thought it'll be the size of the regular hammer of soul. Instead they gaved us a orange blow up chucky cheese hammer.

Today's strike mods are brawler and solar singe. Pair it with hallow fire heart for rapid 1 shot hammer throws. Or with those dumb looking Titan arm pad exotic things that boost melee damage in a kill
