As a long time player from the original Destiny, I no longer looking forward to even playing the game from week to week. I spent countless hours grinding all aspects of this game but, the most recent changes that came in with Forsaken completely destroyed any aspect of fun this game offered. New AAA titles on the horizon like Call of Duty and Anthem are going to take so many players from this community that the current state of the game changes will not be sustainable. The high investment cost to upgrading the new weapons, crucilble riddle with skillless 2 second, one hit TTK, gated light level system that is not based upon accomplished storyline progression but random loot drop luck and, clear bias towards the majority of the casual gamer community. All of these changes have destroyed any interest many players have in continue to grind this game for lack luster rewards. I used to love to log in to Destiny to play end game content, help new players and, enjoy time with other gamers but, now the community is trash, I have no access to end game content in Forsaken (I will not have access for weeks to months), crucible is unplayable, weapon upgrades are ridiculous for casual players who need to upgrade weaponry and armor and actually try it to know what load out is viable. For casuals to have to be so extremely selective about upgrading a single piece of equipment which may end up not being a benefit and then have the rest of their gameplay suffer because of this choice is ridiculous. For me it would be months before having any semblence of being fully geared again and by that time the next DLC content will be released and I will be equally under leveled to even participate in that event, not to mention that those who burnt through this content will no longer be willing to help those who have not play the end game events yet. The majority of the Destiny community is being left behind in Forsaken and I feell especially slighted since I bought the annual pass. The biased catering to streaming, glitching and, modding hardcores will continue through every expansion of this expansion and no other players will ever have the chance of feeling like an accomplished player again. Knowing that the world's first showed the condoned cheating in this game removed all illusion that Bungie actually values its player base. New games are coming and I for one will never pay for any game produced by Bungie, especially Destiny. I await Anthem to be released and whether it is good or bad, Destiny is over for me.
