Please add Raid Catalyst like Telesto and Sleeper obtainable in other Activities since no one plays old raids anymore

You can do chest runs and just grab the first 3 chests. Those drop from any chests including the cosmetic or exotic ones. Just got my SOS one from third non encounter chest

3 RepliesYour mistake is thinking that these catalysts are meant to be had. There is a reason they are locked behind specific raids. Because there is loot that not everyone will have. Assemble a fireteam and run the 45 min raid.

Acrius should stay locked behind Calus, as Acrius is a raid based exotic. Telesto is not raid based, its through the hours of grinding in CoO for mats.

Great raid, but randoms are usually terrible at it. I've tried prestige a few times but every time the lfg teams I scrounge up are god awful. Can't even complete opening sequence. Maybe it will be better now since our light is higher.

1 ReplyThe flaw in Bungie's plans revealed. It's not like this crap isn't obvious either. I ranted about it when they added catalysts to raids. Stating that they would become near impossible to obtain as the raids became less and less relevant. It's not rocket science. It takes two minutes of thought to work out 90% of the flaws in the stuff they do and correct them. So why is this process not taking place at Bungie?

Telesto maybe. But I mean...I really don't want everybody and their mother to be running around with a 700 charge time sleeper. That...that just sounds wrong.

3 RepliesSome of us don’t play raids at all. I understand obviously that I’m forfeiting the right to obtain raid weaponry and armor by forgoing the raids, but to lock an upgrade for a weapon obtained outside of the raid, within the raid, it’s just not right. Bungie should only lock catalysts for raid exotics within said raids. Lock any other catalysts behind strikes where they’re non existent anyway.

1 ReplyMy problem with sleeper catalyst is nobody plays EP these days, can't fet the ikelos smg despite it being a fixed roll weapon cause i have just played 60 something EP and it takes maybe 100 or idk how many to get the drop.

2 RepliesThe old raids are still played, you are just lazy and probably don´t want to do them. It´s good they keep them there, you want the most powerful catalyst in the game? You have to play one of the most challenging activities in the game. Ok with our power Level now it´s not that challenging anymore but sill a challenge.

just increase the drop rate so you do it a couple of times and you're sure to get it

In fact I believe it gives reasons to continue playing those raids now for good rewards. I'd rather the catalysts stay. For everyone who's disliking this comment and not actually expressing your opinion please go off yourself. This is supposed to be a discussion. It's always been this way in Destiny. If you don't do everything, you can't get everything. It's a very simple concept to grasp. So should to very powerful catalysts be locked behind a challenging activity? Of course they should. It's not like the raid is even challenging anymore because we are such a high light compared to it. Don't shove that solo player crap on me either. You bought this knowing it was a multiplayer game. The same argument applies, you can't get everything if you don't do everything. That's all.
