Seeing as how the older armor sets are no longer as useful as the new ones, it sucks that almost every single set for titans is either high mobility and medium resilience or high resilience and low recovery.
I like the look of the reverie dawn set but I hate the stat allocation because I simply do not care about mobility.
I know there are recovery mods, but who seriously would waste a slot on armor for something like that unless it was just because they don't have any other worthwhile mods?
Same thing with the iron banner armor.
I like it's look, (minus the fat beer belly titan chest pieces always give) but it's stats are very undesirable.
Getting 10 resilience and 3 recovery is stupid and honestly worthless.
(But that's because resilience beyond 6 is worthless)
Please bring that feature back.

4 RepliesPre Forsaken gear getting kicked to the curb isn’t very fair. Some of us took a long time to find the perfect look, with what we like. It’s obselete without perks. They forgot to mention this when they excitedly proclaimed that we could carry our gear over. Rerolling perks should have the ability to add perks to something that previously didn’t have them. They also need to do away with very specific weapon perks - grenade launchers, sidearms, pulse rifles etc. Because with all these possible setups, you have to be very lucky to find 1)Something that doesn’t make you look like a hobo 2)Weapon perks you agree with 3)Mobility/recovery/resilience that you agree with. An easy way around this is to have all the bubbles available on everything and you just check them off. If this is too op then allow rerolls because with the cost of infusing what we like, WE LOOK LIKE HOBOS.

1 ReplyI would enjoy it if year 1 armors droppped with random rolls with the same stat allocations, these new models and accompanying stats are very underwhelming.
-
4 Repliesmobility resilience and recovery is a joke..... specifically mobility slighty faster walking.............. omg
-
4 RepliesYeah this blows. Most of the new Hunter armor is survivalist and I hate it. I just want to be fast again without having to equip 5 mobility mods.

Step 1. Collect everything Step 2. Step 3. Profit

1 Replyidk what you're talking about with the beer belly tbh. just makes it more ~immersive~

I have noticed that they ALWAYS seem to regress on something every single season/content release. Eg. Season 1 community said why cant we buy armour at the vendors? Season 2 comes and we can, season 3 rolls around with warmind and all of a sudden shaxx, zavala, saladin and the factions all of a sudden magically lost their ability to sell you armour. Season 1 we asked for some way to change our armour stats to wear what we want, masterwork system comes out and now we can wear any style we want with any stats because they are re rollable. Forsaken drops and this feature everyone asked for is removed because...um...? The titan has 2 recovery sets and 2 resilience sets and the rest are mobility, like wtf is up with that? So if you want to rock those types of armour you have 2 styles to choose from, hope your chosen exotic looks good with them lol. We even went through this with the leviathan titan raid armour, people asked why is the leviathan armour for the titan, a reward for the pinnacle pve activity mobility when mobility is the least effective pve stat? They -blam!-ing did it again and made the last wish titan armour mobility! Like jesus christ man come on, i like alot of what forsaken has given us but things like this frustrate me beyond belief, they had to have had a completely different team working in forsaken and none of them talked to the people working on the year 1 stuff or even played the -blam!-ing game in year one.

6 RepliesBecause Bungie cannot fix something the community asked for, with out messing with something we didn't, it's like they take our feedback, smoke one too many blunts, go on a idea rant and implement every idea that was said. Feedback should not be this hard, people post feedback, they are voted for or not, implement good feedback, smh.

4 RepliesThose stats are rolled whe the new armor is dropped, it's not at in stone

2 RepliesEdited by sv rocks 3: 9/24/2018 6:07:40 PMFirst of all, I agree that stats should be able to be tweaked and manipulated, however, I know why Bungie did what they did. They created each armor piece for each class based on the initial principles of the three classes (hunters are more mobile= mobility; titans are more tanky= more resilience; lastly warlocks fall in the recovery stat because that's just where they go). Again, I want to reiterate that I do think we should have more control over this.

4 RepliesThe community wanted random rolls, got random rolls . Welcome to rng hell .

1 ReplyEdited by DiZ: 9/24/2018 5:25:42 AM*when on my Titan* "Mobility? -blam!-, but it has all the perks I want and the closest look to what I want!" *when on my Hunter* "These boots have Dynamo(this perk may as well be broken for Hunters) and those gauntlets have Shotgun Scavenger, but they're from the frickin' Tangled Shore armor set!" I'd add another for Warlock, but I don't know wheter I want Mobility or not yet. I enjoy strafing a lot with high Mobility, but you can Warlock surf faster with less of it. So if we could have something similar to the old armor Masterwork system or even transmog(except on/for Exotics), I'd be very happy with that.

Im a warlock main, but I want to wear hunter armor because they don't look ugly af like warlocks/titans and the stats are viable/best for pvp. Bungie, pls let me reroll my warlock armor to hunter armor
-
4 RepliesBump. Nothing worse than getting a god roll then seeing the masterwork is reload or something.
-
Edited by Ravontulet: 9/24/2018 7:34:25 PMI'd settle for having glass needles back to re' roll exotics. But yes the ability to change the masterwork type would be helpful.
-
Because we were too busy talking about eververse, shaders, lack of grind and team shooting.
-
There is no good argument for not having selectable armour stats.

Bungie giveth and Bungie taketh away

1 ReplyIts the Bungie way, 1 step forward 2 steps backwards 🙂. But seriously theres a handful of features year 1 had to offer that are nonexistent now, like how we were able to change the elemental burn on all energy and power weapons ( nonexistent now) because they’re all static burned. Or how you know infusing any item only costed a few shards and gunsmith materials ( now costs planetary materials and 2-3 masterwork cores, speaking of which it costs a whopping total of 17 to fully masterwork any weapon or armor piece and then you’re stuck with whatever roll you get . Year 1 may have had many flaws but I guess they did it so everyone wouldn’t be running around with the same weapon but considering random rolls exist I don’t see how that would have been an issue. They can atleast remove the cost to masterworks for infusion , make maxed out gear rerollable and return the randomization of burns on weapons ( but keep it so we can’t change the burns).
-
Just use the EP armor.
-
The same thing that happened to ammo synthesis I guess.

19 RepliesI can only give you my viewpoint on this topic. I kinda want to see stat re-rolls return for masterwork armor and weapons also. But specifically wrt armor. As soon as stats are able to be re-rolled, ALL armor, 100% of it, becomes cosmetic. Find the set you think is pretty, then masterwork it and reroll it until your stat set is found. Completely eliminating my need to find better random rolls on my Dreaming City, or elsewhere, armor.
-
1 ReplyWarlock is in the same boat. None of the new sets that I have received are heavy, so you run around at 3 resilience.
-
4 RepliesI absolutely hate the fact that you can’t reroll Masterwork perks anymore.
