Edit: To clarify a bit, I’m just saying that they need to make the quest steps hard. Not stupidly easy like they did. This is probably the best HC in the game. The quest steps should be hard.
Edit 2: So a lot of people misunderstood, which is my fault. I didn’t word this correctly and I chose not to change it, which is my fault again.

Was it already easy ? “Easy” is a word thrown about by elitists to try and show their superiority. Every time it’s written I just cringe. It may have been “easy” for you but, in the main, invaders just sit back with the sleeper and make it hard, not “easy” to do that part. It’s a weapon in a video game. It should, perhaps, simply have dropped from Uldrens lifeless hand at campaigns end and been picked up by us without the need for any quest to repair it .. Then we all would have had it regardless of any quest... But do remember that what you find “easy” isn’t the same for everyone.

1 ReplyIn the first place a quest made in homage of a character who dies in the story should have never been tied to any pvp or gambit activities period. It's a lazy attempt in actually building a story around caydes legacy within the story world.

Add kills count?! Now I see what you're talking about. Definitely should not be add kills... thought they'd just changed it to invasion kills.

5 RepliesWhen you get the broadsword, and they nerf that to something stupid like 500 precision crucible kills with pulse rifles. Then you have a reason to complain. Still need 45 doubles. At least I have 1 reset knocked out.

It might have been easy for some, but not for all. I will say this, the change did make playing Gambit more endurable. Previously, I hated the damn thing so much that I had to stop playing destiny for the sake of my only controller.

Same here, I'm personally happy that they're doing this. It was hard for me as someone who's been playing Halo since 7 and Destiny since 13/14 so I can really only imagine how insanely difficult it would be for my dad. I'll probably end up doing his 25 headshots since neither of us are PvP mavericks but at the very least it'll be easier for him to push through those first steps.

I agree this quest step was extremely easy and should not have been made ANY easier. This is not elitism it’s frustrating to have to grind longer than other players. Exotics should be exotic for a reason

Signed. The hardest part of the quest was wait u til the damn campaign ended. Afterward it was a breeze, got lucky to play gambit with skilled players that were not using sleeper simulant.

Invaders was the easy part , take a fireteam of friends let them no you’re chasing that part of the quest , with all of you looking for them and only one shooting them it’s a breeze .. Bungie folded and gave it to everyone. It wasn’t hard at all with friends at least .
