Forsaken is the best destiny has been
but could you please stop time gateing progression. This is the only complaint i really have for this update. i just want to play and progress not wait till every damn tuesday to be able to get useful drops or the one a day prime. playing should give a slow but steady progression, not hitting a dead stop at any light level.

The DLC is quite impressive, but the armor on the other hand is pretty lackluster & has been throughout all of Destiny 2.. Especially Compared to anything Destiny 1 has to offer, the armor in D2 is just disappointing.. I mean even the Destiny 1 Strike Specific armor is cooler than anything D2 has let alone the Raid sets and/or Raid ornaments for said sets.. & dont get me wrong I'm actually pretty happy with the weapons in D2, but the armor truly needs to be more exciting.. Maybe introducing more enemy themed armor, like Hive, Fallen, Cabal, Taken or even Skorn, I mean look at how excited the community is for the Nightfall exclusive Hive themed shotgun, we need more of that but for both weapons & armor (mostly armor).. When it comes to the Raid the only things I'm looking to grind for are the weapons, & that kills a good portion of the replay ability & excitement in my opinion.. I mean we had an Ahamkara raid and the armor doesnt reflect that at all..? The weapons do, but the armor is just a reskin of the Dreaming City Sets.. It should have been the Ahamkara versions of the Crota's End or Kings Fall raid Sets.. Its truly a shame and missed opportunity.. & in all realness it leaves Forsaken with no real solid end game armor to farm for.

D1 is still on top by miles in my opinion. Forsaken is good though.

10 RepliesTaken King was. Meaningful immersive story, pvp balance was great, whole bunch of exotic quest lines and other quests. There was always something to be working towards whereas currently I feel like all there is working on the powerful rewards. I have no real quests to work on and haven’t gotten any exotic quests outside ace of spades and chaperone. Taken king I recall the sword quests, hunting the house of wolves again, malice quest line, chaperone, the class specific exotic weapons, and etc. it wasn’t always a grind just to grind like feels like it is now. IMO at least.

33 RepliesI still have not bought Forsaken... Sounds like more of the same mistakes with tedious progression for pve and no chance of improving the pvp since it isn't running on dedicated servers. I was planning to pick it up a week or so after release but the shine is wearing off quick it sounds like. Only bungLe offering I haven't preordered since Halo 3.

Agree. D1 got progressively worse and vanilla d2 was just awful. I'm absolutely loving this now.

I am very happy with what Forsaken brought to Destiny 2. However, the number of bugs and glitches that have been discovered and that are still affecting players (like Iron Banner tokens not dropping for some players currently or the weekly milestone blunder last week) have been really disappointing. Bungie’s reactions to theses problems didn’t make it up to those affected in my opinion.

For me it is but I really really liked rose of iron. However I think that’s just down to the Aesthetic. I loved the raid gear, the raid weapons, I’m not a massive raider but I really enjoyed that one.

2 RepliesIt was either HoW in y1, or whenever in y2 that infusion became 1 to 1. TTK was exciting content and story/lore wise, but the infusion system was completely broken. My vault was littered with "step up" pieces, because lord help you if you wanted to infuse anything more than 4 light (5 for exotics) into your gear. You had to step it up gradually or sacrifice light levels upon infusion.

3 RepliesHoW was better. This expansion is bad. You got a short story of only five missions with you doing chores for Spider to make it seem longer, you have so much wasted potential with the Barons, there's no post game story (unless you count getting into the Dreaming City, which can be accomplished in an hour if you're lucky), so many time gated events, Gambit can get one sided way too easily, and don't even get me started on how the launch of Last Wish was received. People are only praising this expansion because we have more content to play. Guarantee you, once we've done everything and hit 600, everyone will go right back to saying how this game is stupid and there's nothing to do.
