Xbox purchase Code for forsaken DLC doesn't work

This is more of a complaint about xbox that I would like Bungie to be aware of. My friend purchased the Forsaken DLC as a gift from xbox but when I went to redeem the code, the load screen would bug out and put me in the "store" tab as if nothing happened. There were no errors or updates to tell me what had gone wrong. I have been in contact with xbox support ever since and they just said that they were working on the codes for forsaken. I got the code on Friday (september 7th, 2018) and it is now wednesday (september 12th). Xbox isn't really clear what is going on or when it will be fixed but my friend is just going to get a refund. I just think that bungie should know that one of their customers hasn't been able to play for the last five days, because of something dumb as not being able to activate a purchased code. If anybody else has run into this, let me know.

  • YES! I’ve had the EXACT same problem for the past 5 days and I’m getting tired of waiting for the code that I bought my friend to work.
