Ashen wake arms not working?

Has anyone noticed that the ashen wake arms dont return any grenade energy at all for hitting someone with the grenade?

Bungie specifically stated in the TWAB that this feature was not active on Ashen Wake. At least not yet. https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47156
