Just wondering what everyones experience was last night? Currently I sit at a 2.0 efficiency. Played about 10 matches and got trashed. My best game was a 1.9. Most matches were around 1.2. I also noticed I was playing several of the same ppl.
I thought maybe I was just trash with the new update, but the ppl I played seemed pretty good last night. Whats everyone elses experience been with the new patch?

6 Replies😂😂😂😂 crucible, well lets just say it went from everyone hiding with a grav, to everyone hiding with a sniper n shotgun. Turn a corner dead, spawn dead, try and fire your gun at anything dead. Play the crucible at all dead dead dead dead.

Too many shotguns. Shotguns should move to heavy again

4 RepliesIt feels like a lot of the people that like the changes were not very good at the game and are happy they have more of a chance now to get kills with shotguns and one-hit shoulder charges. Players with no skills have at least a chance using those. I'm in the other camp. I played a ton of Crucible since D2 launched, and I hate the changes overall. I liked how PvP played in general since the last update. It now feels a lot slower and more campy, especially due to the shotguns. They need to move shotguns back to the power slot.

Absolutely awful. PvE is very fun, loving the new combinations, but PvP is a complete mess, and I thought I couldn’t get worse...
-
My efficiency had dropped by .15 I also have been experiencing insane amounts of lag
-
I'm doing alot better in the crucible because it's alot similar to d1, also I use fusion rifles in the crucible instead of shotguns so.

4 RepliesIt’s all shotguns. Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun Shotgun I think it’s completely phucked up and completely unbalanced. I thought anything would be better than 11 graviton’s in 1 match but I was wrong. Bungie’s solution to their phucked up map size was to shorten the players range in turn making you travel more for a kill, by rearranging the weapon system rather the design and build larger maps. D1 pvp was 1000 times better than this shit.

PvP sucks again...
-
Crucible sucks now.

It sucks 😑😑😑

Shotguns are going to become an issue I foresee.

For me it is horrible and worse than it ever was. The lag, shotguns, snipers and team shooting is worse than it was before. Once Forsaken is on, I’m done wi Crucible if this is how it is going to remain, the little enjoyment I had before update has totally gone. I know th majority enjoy it and that’s good but this is my personal opinion.

Horrible, I don't like it.

I've never been one to use the meta weapons, didnt use the Glance or the vwing. But this meta of shotguns is a bit much. Even in D1 when shotguns were prevalent you had a choice, hand canons, pulse rifle etc. But most guns are to slow to respond to a shotgun at this point.

Hate it!

Sucks

Match making is different. From what I gathered, it matches you up with the same people over and over until a message "we are breaking up the teams..." comes up and then you are put into a longer queue for new people. I'm not a fan of playing against the same people multiple times in a row, as well as only getting matched with one small group of people at a time.
-
I find it playing much slower and a lot more boring.

3 RepliesI’m sorry, I didn’t think that Bungie could make the crucible worst, but they did. Not only are special weapons running the crucible, people have started to group up again to stay alive. No one wants to run around solo, by themselves, in fear of being shottied at every corner. I for one, don’t like the new crucible 2.0 in its present state.
-
I wish they would have just left it alone, at least it was enjoyable before and not just a sniper shotgun fest covered in cheese.
-
I enjoyed PVP somewhat before 2.0. But it is god awful now. I don't think I've ever had a less enjoyable experience, and I'm genuinely not overreacting. I don't have any problem with meta changes, and even shotguns being strong. But shotguns were strong before 2.0, now they are the epitome of overpowered. Before you only had to worry about 1 maybe 2 guys with a shotgun. Now you have to worry about an entire enemy team having one, and not just for a short amount of time. Literally the entire duration of the game. It's just not fun, it's not fun to be essentially forced to run a shotgun and it's not fun to play against 3x shotguns. It kills the pace of the game, kills the enjoyment of supers, kills the balance of weapons in the game. People were upset with Vwing/Graviton? Just wait.

4 RepliesIt's really terrible to me. I feel like I can't use any fun, rapid-fire weapons anymore, it's either use OHK weapons or die. And, yes, teamshotting is still a thing

Getting obliterated by the same teams multiple times in a row. Mercy rule could use some adjustment to stop wasting my time.

1 ReplyI don't like or hate it.. but one thing I will say.. a week ago in competitive.. I had a game where I had to fight 1 vs 4, as randoms bailed.. and I held my own.. even took the win on two rounds by fighting smart.. and I had a game where out of 16 possible knockouts for my team, I got 13 of them.. with an efficiency of 4.29. Since the update yesterday, it's felt like a struggle to break positive. I feel like my hand cannon is firing blanks, it just feels messy. Josh Hamrick or whatever his name is said they wanted "Skill gap" to be a thing.. well I personally feel like I've gone from a slightly above average player to a massively below average player over night, which just feels really, really off to me. I'm not sure what Bungie have done behind the scenes, but something feels mega -blam!-ed up for me. Hoping they fix it.

I got destroyed the last few days. Wanted to get better so I just kept playing. Didn't help.

You maybe met the ppl again because of the reintroduced Feature to stay in the Lobby?
