I'd like to mention that the HELP article for this error seems woefully outdated, listing information pertaining to last gen consoles on Destiny 1, not anything about Destiny 2, and nothing related to this current iteration of the error occuring (happens on both versions of the game on xbox one). It locks up on "Verifying Content", tries to initiate the marketplace which responds with a variation of this (my most recent) error [quote]PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent 57TSAan5Zk2pomua.3.3.1.3.2.1 2018/08/02 - 1:14:30 UTC[/quote] I had just been in orbit, fully loaded, launched another game for maybe 5 minutes, and this happened when I tried to load the game again in the same session. It's all on an external hard drive. I don't game share (saw that pop up in one of these threads, does not seem related). Sometimes it happens when I first boot up the game, sometimes not. My solutions have been to just try to get to character select again, if that doesn't work reload the game entirely, if that doesn't work after a few tries do a system cache clear. Eventually it works, but every step that worked also doesn't always work so I'm still not sure how to narrow down the issue. Content is all installed, it just sometimes has a hard time finding it I guess? I recorded the issue as it happened if that would help this issue be solved, on both d1 and d2, but you just see verifying then installing content in-game though, as the system prompt's overlay is not displayed when you use the xbox dvr function, so I figure the error message and description will suffice unless I'm asked.
