Warframe is flipping amazing
First of all, free DLC
Second of all, you can use real money but you don’t need to
Third, gameplay is SO FLUID it doesn’t need nerfed or buffed every other month
Fourth, the best Destiny YouTuber, J3z the Titan Slayer, Slayer of all Titans has started playing Warframe and loves it
Fifth, they’re version of Forsaken is 3 separate downloadable additions that are completely free and add hours upon hours of more gameplay
Sixth, the developers care about the game and not the money

22 RepliesNothing in that game is truly free. The game has one of the most aggressive MTX schemes in gaming, and is basically Pay to Progress. its just that it accepts payment in either inordinate amounts of Time....or Money. The only thing that Bungie can learn from Digital Extremes is that DE leaned INTO Warframe's identity and a looter-shooter....and a primarily PVE experience. So DE doesn't dilute the power-fantasy in an effort to make the game "balanced" for PVP or "challenging" for PVE. They let you become as STUPIDLY powerful as you want to be as a reward for your investment in the game. Whereas Bungie is always knee-capping the PVE experience in pursuit of PVP balance....and hamstringing the power-fantasy with continuing efforts to make the game "difficult." They don't seem to either understand....or accept...that the whole point of a loot-based game is that the game becomes EASIER as you become more powerful.... ...and its SUPPOSED to do that. ..and if it doesn't you BREAK the reward loop, and you damage the game on the PVE side.
