Is the match making system really working properly? I mainly play solo and struggle to use voice chat because of a disability, this also makes pvp slightly more difficult due to the very quick reactions needed. I have grinded into the precision HC kills but progress is very slow as the matching system is putting sweaty teams and cheese against much lower ranked solo players. We are getting smashed. The points loss system should be much less if not zero for solo players. And ppl quiting in game and on the way to map need harsher punishments.

Sort of stupid to penalize someone for losing a match in general why can't we penalize the rank of the people who leave prematurely, but not damage the peoples glory for losing. Seen so many match where their is only 2 or 3 people and the other team is still stacked with 4 obviously they're at a huge disadvantage right out of the gate so odds are they will lose so it shouldn't penalize you if you lose a match at all! This competitive play list is ridiculous!

Here are some of the shenanigans competitive matchmaking has put me thru: -put me with an opposing team that already has lunas howl -4 stack vs 4 randos, losing to 4 stacks should have minimum penalty like -10 glory not a full -30. -pair of 2 stacks in a fire team vs 4 randos -matched against players with displayed engram 2.0+ KD(a) -one fireteam member got disconnected so we're at a disadvantage we lose, still same -30 glory. penalty should be minimal like -10 glory or no penalty at all. If team is a 3 stack and stills win should be given more glory. -on a losing streak(abysmal), still getting matched against better players stat wise. -being matched with players who have reached a higher glory than me. If they reached fabled rank they should be tagged from that point on as Fabled rank players irregardless if they go down a rank i.e reached Fabled and got ranked to Heroic player should still be matched against those who have reached Fabled. They would only be tagged as heroic if for some reason they ranked down another level, Brave.

Dear Bungie PVP staff, How to fix Comp mode. A. Return match making to previous version B. Change point system to the following: I. No more negative points per loss II. Negative points at 3 loss and 5 loss streaks III. Keep everything else the same for now C. Return Power ammo to D1 gameplay. Too much power ammo per game, and tired fighting my own team to get some. Thats not the the effing problem the problem is as a solo player being matched against team of 4 stacks every single match since Tues!!! Just played a game & its the same bs still! Just put things back the way they were b4! Thats the only way to be truly fair!! Since after the change its now harder to get the claymore than it was for those who got it befor the update which doesnt seem fair to those that were close prior like myself....who had 1900 in rank but since ive gone against teams of 4 ever since & am a solo player am down to less than 1650 now! Have not been placed in a match vs other solo players even once am only matched against teams of 4 vs myself & 3 other solo players & cant get a win!! Why wont it match 8 solos in a game at all? Every match its 4 solos vs a team of 4??? EVERY SINGLE MATCH PLAYED SINCE TUES WHEN THE UPDATE WAS RELEASED! If yall dont fix soon you will be cheating many who wouldve obtained the claymore under the initial parameters of match making prior to this unfair mid season rule change to match making! This has already made me not wanna play but im trying! If nothings done to fix glory to be fair or back to how it was prior to patch i will have had enough & can see myself walking away from this game once & for all! Without any responses from you there being no assurance of matching solos vs solos like yall had said was gonna be the case when 1.2.3 dropped! Which its the exact opposite matches 4 solos vs teams of 4 only! I cant even continue im so disgusted with pvp & how this change has screwed me over & from what ive seen & read it did the same to 3/4 of the pvp glory players as well & we sit here almost a week later with nothing changed!!! FIX OR PUT IT BACK AS IT WAS BEFORE!!!!!

Cosmo...competitive SUCKS right now. I love the game mode. And I actually have a better percentage of “competitive” matches now (like...all players seem on par for the most part). This actually seems good. The problem is, I’m at the top of my team almost every single match, yet my win percentage has gone down the tubes. I’m definitely making better progress than before. But something is wrong. At this point, I’m only gaining like 20-50 points per week. Bottom line, it’s making me NOT want to play. And I want to WANT to play. I really do.

Also, When will you fix DDoSING? Yesterday, we played a team and one by one, we all "lost connection" My friend from Texas, got booted first. Then myself (who is from the Uk) got booted. Then thirdly, my friend (also from uk) got booted. I know the twats name who did it, but I'm not allowed to name and shame, because I forgot Bungie endorses cheating so long as the login figures stack with your quarterly bonuses. CHANGE YOUR -blam!-ING SERVERS, CHANGE YOUR PVP, PROTECT PLAYERS WHO LEGITIMATELY PLAY PVP AND START KNUCKLING SOWN ON CHEATERS I'm sick and tired of your bullshit complacency and non funk giving rhetoric. You make bio wares mass effect andromeda look like a successful title.

Let me describe what these changes have had on me. 1. I hardly get matches, there's a huge difference between saying "matchmaking will take a little longer than usual" to "error, matchmaking not found you have been returned to orbit" 2. In the event that I actually find a match, I'm playing people who have 3000+ pointS. And whilst I never shy away from a challenge, as I believe it will better me as a PVP player. I ONLY HAVE 2100 points. 3. Clearly the mathematics department at bungo .inc is a joke, how did you manage to screw up the average score between matchmaking. My usual fireteam has an average of 1700 points SO WHY ARE WE FACING PEOPLE WHO ARE AT 5000 SCORE? Return the matchmaking to the old system, sack the loss point streaks. I mean why do you guys feel like the redrix is a special weapon? When you gave people the only weapon that is the focal point of PVP right now? You made a god tier weapon, handed it to everyone and then said "hey guys, we made this cool weapon that has some serious potential to be one of the best guns in the game, but your gonna have to play sweaty graviton users to get it, and when you do get it (if, my bad) YOU WONT BE ABLE TO KILL ANYONE BECAUSE WE MADE GRAV LANCE GOD TIER roflroflrofl I don't know if bunnies building contains a lack of oxygen or you guys are overdosing on C02 but something is very very wrong with your teams.

I agree with this change. I assumed that when a competitive matchmaking system was being implemented that this is how it was going to be from the start. Face people at your rank and as you do better, you play better people - to be the best, you need to beat the best. This will for sure mean less people will get the claymore and higher ranked rewards but I think that’s fair. For solo players it’s really tough but this is a ‘team-based’ shooter and so the pinnacle PvP activity should be team based. However, with rumble now being permanent, maybe there can be a competitive rumble playlist or even separate Rumble rewards and goals for the players who just cannot get a team together. I know this may not be a massively popular sentiment but it’s how I feel.

First and foremost, lag is a bigger problem in Competitive since Update 1.2.3. My clan mates and I are continuously matched against bullet sponges. Our headshots aren't headshots anymore. Our melee attacks don't register properly half of the time. That's a huge disadvantage through and through. Then, there is the problem of Glory Rank matchmaking itself. It is not working as Bungie tells us or, at the very least, not working as they think it does. We've gone from winning half of our games (which worked as intended, matching us against players of similar skill) to winning one game out of ten, if we're lucky (90% - 10% chance of victory according to predictions based on Elo rating system). Since last update, we're having our asses handed to us most of the matches, getting 4-0 and 6-0 levels of complete obliteration. We're getting pitted against players way out our league. This is not how a competitive experience should be. The old matchmaking worked better even when it shouldn't have, apparently. Please, Bungie, look at the numbers. You have the stats, review them. Make changes or undo them if necessary. Competitive mode is going down in the gutter fast. Don't let it become Trials 2.0.
