I got a carry through a trials card and was promptly suspended for two weeks shortly after finishing. I have a stable western US connection, and have never had anything like this happen since day one of D1. Is there seriously no way to appeal or speak to support? I contacted the others I played with and they have not been suspended.
It's an awful feeling to have something like this come down and not have any recourse at all. I am 100% innocent, I pay for the top internet package available in my area and have never had an issue on Destiny or any PSN title.

1 ReplyHello: Please read below the following extract from the DESTINY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES
Disputing a Ban or Restriction There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. Bungie does not comment on or discuss individual account restriction or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. Bungie takes actions to preserve the experience of all Destiny players, and does not take account restrictions lightly. Players are responsible for their online account and console hardware, and any actions taken in the world of Destiny, and should be careful of who they allow to access their Destiny account.
9 RepliesEdited by TuxyDoh: 6/19/2018 1:44:43 AMIt could be related to the 7 out of 9 matches today that had 1 or more members of the enemy team DNF from the match, in most cases there were partial team completions so they were not leaving on their own accord as a team. If any of the 28 guardians who were not able to complete their matches reported you or your team, Bungie would review the match history. If Bungie found signs of shenanigans, they would enforce restrictions and/or bans. Based on that history, it seems there was some foul play going on Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Restrictions typically START at 2 weeks of normal PVP and 2 month of Trials. Bans are lifetime There are no disputes or appeals. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

You paid real money for a trials carry? That is one of the most pathetic things I've ever heard.
-
5 RepliesYou get what you pay for. How much did you pay for the carry?

1 ReplyThe people that carried you likely use network manipulation to ensure that their clients go flawless. When you play with a team that cheats you are considered complicit. Looking at your team's performance on destiny tracker, there are some anomalies that suggest they cheated when they were up against good teams. Even if you didn't know they were cheating, which is hard to believe on some of those matches, you benefited from it and were a consenting member of the team. Moral of the story, leave the fireteam if things get suspicious.

1 ReplyEdited by ILoveI6v6I: 6/19/2018 1:51:43 AMYeah, all your matches were extremely suspicious. First of all, you got matched against a bunch of bronze and silver ELO groups, which is pretty weird in Trials. Usually almost every team is sweaty. Several of the teams had members disconnect, usually the more skilled members. You had one game with 2 diamond ELOs and they magically were the only ones to get disconnected too. Lol. The people carrying you were cheating.

1 ReplySo you didn’t find all those enemy players “leaving” game after game to be the least bit suspicious & think something wrong was going on?

6 RepliesEdited by Psyperactive81: 6/19/2018 3:51:18 PM{REDACTED} aka {REDACTED} is a known scammer and cheater, was it worth it? Ninja Edit
I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating. Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so. For those who who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form. * If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form. * Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions. * Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account. 5 Replies
I contacted the others I played with and they have not been suspended.
Actually, at least 1 of your teammates has been restricted, as he/she put up a post on the forums earlier. Just because they say they haven’t been restricted doesn’t mean they haven’t/won’t be.

4 RepliesSo the actual cheaters don't get restricted? Sounds about right...
