Year One Destiny 2 Gear Carrying Forward Into Forsaken
Forsaken players will be able to take all their favorite year 1 weapons and armor and bring them up to the new power cap. Forsaken is required to obtain new power.

This is a good thing. I don’t see why adding to content instead of eliminating content is an issue. Just my perspective. And if you have an issue with anything. Find a viable alternative. 6 RepliesA few questions for you Cozmo... So, I can infuse my Mananananan and Origin story, Nameless Midnight, Better Devils, Sins of the Past etc etc to the new power level... But... Can they be re-rolled? Will they even still be available? If they are still available, will they drop with different rolls? Armor is not so much of a concern, because frankly, armor in D2 is nowhere near as important as D1. Hoping for a reply, but not holding my breath.

Better question: Will vanilla armor receive actual perks or stay the way they are (mod slots only)?

6 Replieshey i have question, I have herd a lot of stuff to do with forsaken but one thing that has not been clear is.... Will we be able to move elemental guns to the primary slot if we want or will the kinetic slot and secondary slot just have its own versions of snipers, shotguns and fusion rifles? Will Elemental primary's be a thing and make a return can we move a secondary elemental from the secondary slot to the primary slot aka kinetic slot??

Anyone know if the tokens & weapon parts & master work cores etc system is carrying over in September? Just wondering if there’s any point in hoarding...easy way to hunt a few random rolls first day possibly...haven’t heard them address this aspect. Not too worried about it either way just curious.

Because everything will have random rolls now they know that all the year 1 stuff will be useless anyway. You're going to replace it all and everyone is getting happy. If year 1 stuff had random rolls already Bungie would not have allowed you to get them up to the new level.

I’m a little bit frustrated by this comment because it answers nothing. You’re purposely dodging the ACTUAL concerns that your new perk and mod system won’t retroactively affect year 1 weapons. Maybe we won’t be able to earn year 1 weapons anymore, and even if we can, they’re still static rolls. Maybe EP armor won’t get the same benefits that year 2 armor gets. In these ways, power level means shit, because only a select, special few will hamstring themselves in order to look good in order to wear their favorite y1 armor. It’s not the end of the world, but it would be cool if you could actually answer concerns and not treat everything like a -blam!-ing tweet. This is a forum where you can use more that hashtags and links to explain things.

I'm glad cause I would of been pissed after all that grinding for the escalation protocol weapons would of been a waste of time lol and I love my festival of the cost armor and Leviathan armor
