Scanning for extra faction token
On earth, in the gulch (spelling?) Loot cave aka the cabal one, basically under where you spawn from fast travel, there is an object you can scan which will give you 5 faction rep tokens. Not sure if you can rescan it with the same character on a second run of lost sector but I just wanted to share as i have never encountered something like that.
Anybody else had something similar happen in another loot cave?

On Io, head to the drill you have to shut down (can't remember area name) and go thru the tunnel on the right when you enter the drill area. Keep following & after you clear the first room with Taken, head up the stairs, but then right, not left. There's a half open gold door. Jus in there is the scannable.

Was doing pyramidion HS and on first room with three activating rings before opening the portal I jumped up to ledge on left of portal. I scanned and got five tokens. Nice surprise.

I was farming with a clan member and he was telling me that the day before he scanned an item and it gave him.15 tokens. We then did a lost sector and found another item he could scan but I couldn't and got 5 more. Not sure why but it's probably items you haven't discovered yet

3 RepliesThere is also one on Nessus in the Glade of Echoes (The Carrion Pit) lost sector. It's under the deck / floor of where you open the chest. I scanned it this week with 1 character and have seen it there many times before. I have also sporadically seen one on Titan in the Sirens Watch lost sector. It's to the left of the Chest on the floor. It was not here this week though with my 3 Dead Orbit characters.

I also found one in a lost sector on Nessus. Not sure which one... In the middle of one of the big open areas where you go downward, and in the lost sector you have to go forward, jump on stuff and then go up a level to get to the chest. Man screw explaining this shit...

Yes. These have been around for a while, they were actually in the original faction rally notes - rare scannables hidden in lost sectors that give you faction lore and bonus tokens. Scannable once per character per faction rally, if you can find them. No idea how many there are. They are not guaranteed to be in every lost sector.

I found one in the EDZ lost sectors flooded chasm I was able to get it once on all my chars.

Yes and after you scan it - it no longer appears in further visits to the same LS - well it hasn't come back for me anyway.

Oh that explains why there was an icon above a scannable in one of the lost sectors i did. Will keep my eye open for more :)
