Of course leave it to bungle to charge more money for a new season pass
Of course you spend 99 dollars and get a season pass and y'all still -blam!-ing are charging people more money to buy more dlcs. You are charging more for a shitty game where you will steal and Rob people of there hard work like in destiny 1. Destiny 2 was alright but it's not worth buying more dlcs. Im taking this game back and would rather play a lego game then this. You loose millions of game players and keep losing them and you don't care what your players want. One of the main reasons destiny 1 lost players was because you charge more for another season pass. Call of duty and any other shooter gives one season pass and you get everything. You guys aren't broke so stop being money hungry

Doesn’t the word season kind of hint that there is an end to the “season pass”? I mean doesn’t it make sense that a season pass would end after 1 season?

5 Repliesthis is ridiculous. most of us spent over 100$ for the dlcs and the base game. its SICK that they would even think about charging us even more like we're fountains of money. I BARELY AFFORD TO BUY THEIR SHIT, just like a majority of players. i stayed with d2 as much as i could but this is just too far. now i see why people are leaving this half assed game. not even a good dlc could excuse this.

Half the reveal stream just to advertise their season pass that is not a season pass but is called [i]annual pass[/i] bungo just got 100m from its asian partnership and now they dare to charge for this upgrade for D2 that makes it D1... Given the state of D2 and all the dissatisfied player base that make their way out of it, should give it free, it's a fix for their messed up game but anyway, what a pair bungo, what a pair you have.

They just straight up copied Epic's homework on the Fortnite Battlepass. Only that shows you exactly what your going to get and when your going to get it, AND its free to play. This is a different sum here. AAA game Paid game +2 DLCs required (shitty DLC) + $40 DLC + $30 pass + EV microtrans ? Bungie, milking fans wallets since 2014

They sell season passes, but aren't they passes that should last the life of the game? Unless stated otherwise for example rainbow six siege where it states it's a YEARLY pass. If it was like that maybe not such a big issue The other thing is I have to pay for multiple dlc on a already $60 game which at this rate will end being about 400 or 500 at the end of the life time which probably be 3 or 4 years which at this rate is not worth the time considering d1 and d2 being just an expansion I paid 100 for. Not to suck off rainbow, but I paid $60 for the game and get essentially free content every 3 months which is supposed to last 10 years. I can buy the season pass and get the dlc free (costs ingame currency which comes from playing) and get it 7 days early?60 for a 10. 500 for 10 years or 500 for at most 4 years?

3 Repliestons of people work at bungie and those people need to be paid somehow so of course the expansion will cost money. just don't buy the extra dlc's if the game doesn't seem to be suiting your desires that's all. However, requiring curse of Osiris and Warmind for Forsaken is absolute trash and that needs to be changed before launch.

The fact that Bungie announced another 'expansion/season pass' for year two after the total disaster that was the year one expansion pass? That takes some big, shiny, brass dangly parts. Then again, Bungie DID con that Chinese company out of $100M.

I agree but you're kind of beating a dead horse. People suspected that money grubbing tactics would be a hard issue to get past before D1 was even out. This was back when CoD games were charging 10-15 for only 3 or 4 maps. Naturally, if they can make $70 instead of $40, they are gonna leap at that chance. They should have stuck with Microsoft....sure, maybe MS isn't the best publisher to work with in terms of not getting up in your space, but did they EVER push Bungie to do cash grabby stuff? No.

It's easy, wait to see if the expansion is worth it. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything and frankly it's not much worse that paying a subscription for something like World of Warcraft.

Cod is a 1 year game, and when you buy a season pass for cod you get content for that year, then the next cod comes out and u have to buy another season pass for that year, then the next cod realeases with yet another season pass. If you do not want to buy the season pass for D2, then don't.

I chose the second. I can understand most of the changes made in the game from a dev perspective, but thanks to them ALWAYS ACTING SO MONEY HUNGRY I cant just assume good intentions. Great company plagued by greed.
