Every other match is one sided nonsense! One team taking fcuk all damage and not missing a hit marker.
Ok so does anyone else feel like BungIe has played yet another sneaky manipulation to make the game feel varied and “exciting”.
I may not be good but I know when I’m hitting or missing my shots and something dodgy is definitely going on. Rarely get a balanced match ever.
- How many others have regular PvP matches where they think “ok I shouldn’t still be alive right now” and carry on killing more players.
Or,
- You shoot the hell out of opponents but they just keep on coming and taking less damage than normal. Plus you die stupidly quickly every engagement.
I’m starting to wonder if BungIe randomly assigns a buff to one team, and a AA reduction to the other. Simulating that hero moment effect thats just not possible with D2.
I know Activision has a patent for a system which does this to tempt us to buy Eververse gear the other team has, so it’s very possible.
BungIe knows the game is soft and spongy so maybe they did this to give us that “hero” feeling.
It’s way too consistent to be lag, and it always feels the same either way. Lag is obvious anyway.
It sounds like it’s BungIe’s casual gamer balancing, where if you do well for a while it smacks you back down for their magic 50/50 win loose ratio.
Anyone else getting this?
Or am I imagining things.
Or my internets playing silly buggers.
Although it’s fibre so that’s not likely.
Edit - been pointed to this and it seems I’m not the only one. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/244223740/0/0
Update: the more I play the more obvious this is. Especially in Iron Banner... Your games BULSHIT Bungie!!

13 RepliesI think you're imagining things, and that anyone who hates d2 currently will agree with you as long as its something negative, tbh. I play a lot of pvp and not once experienced any of that, its simple really that if you're getting mowed down by someone before you kill them, they are better than you. Simple. No foul play at hand what so ever. Just people who can't admit when someone's better than them lmao. It always has to be someone elses fault right?

P2P Servers and Lag compensation. They don't care...

6 RepliesEdited by Muka Gatals: 4/9/2018 6:22:24 PMI have been saying this for months..!!! I played around 800 D2 PVP games...Bungie absolutely Rigged the PVP game. Its not the connection because it has pattern. I use ethernet cable to my router and I am an empty nester, no one else using my internet. Never play PVP on the other XBox that connect to internet using WIFI...I just play it for PVE Patrol. The whole things its because they want to keep the K/D and W/L 1.0 One game I am become invisible and a superman..can take tons of bullets and kill everyone like no tomorrow. The NEXT game...I will be dead just because my opponent stare at me from far.. These in Y3 D1...They decide who become super hero and sitting Duck before the match start. But In D2...they Buff and Nerf payers dynamically during the match. If you are winning...bungie nerf you. If you are loosing..Bungie buff you. Especially the last minute of the game...It become more ridiculous. Suddenly the loosing team's Super charge faster and full..the winning team lose all the zone..etc. You need to play tons of PVP game...you will feel it.

3 RepliesHappens to me all the time. Between that and consistently getting matched up with the worst teammates in the community 8 to 9 times out of 10. I don't know how many matches I've started where one of my dumbass teammates takes off shooting away at nothing. It's gotten to where it's fast getting pointless to bother even playing.
-
1 ReplyAt least it is far less prevalent in D2 than it was in D1.
-
1 ReplyP2P man. It’s all ping times and connection to host. There is also a shit ton of laggers. Bungie won’t do anything about the bullshit so my advice stop playing crucible until they invest in real dedicated servers.
-
Edited by Forgotten: 4/13/2018 6:11:21 PMWell...there is Host bias in the connectivity algorithm that Bungie uses. They've always had in since D1 V and they never removed it. The host will always have priority of some degree, the degree has just been toned down a lot because bungie has tweeked their algorithm to the point that is barely noticeable which was their goal. They just word it differently and say it'll fix all the lag, which is impossible even if they didn't run console to console matchmaking and had dedicated servers for days. I don't know what you want me to tell you, but i have the answers for better or worse. I don't know why people forgot about its existence. Maybe all the bad PR and thousands of on forum beggars for random patches instead of looking at things from a development perspective was reaaally distracting. Its not fishy, its just forgotten and misinterpreted.

Most matches I'm in where I get destroyed I end up coming back from at a certain point which would be more due to lag. Yeah, sometimes I get -blam!- but sometimes I'm doing amazing and all of a sudden I stop getting so many kills. What I've noticed is that when I'm getting crushed i stop playing smart and just do stupid shit. This is probably what most are doing in crucible.

9 RepliesThe results of this poll put on display just how childish and ignorant the remaining player base is. RIGGED GAMES?? Is everyone here 8 years old?? What a childish mindset, it fr baffles me

1 ReplyI use the jade rabbit. One game i can land all head shots cross map, the next i cant even hit body shots. Ive seen shots hit when i know they shouldn't and shots that were dead on miss. Its known that bungie will manipulate the games to get a 50/50 win lose but it feels like they have taken it a step further in D2. This is most of the reason i dont play as much. Why would i want to play a game thats rigged? I dont mind losing against better players and i dont want a win handed to me.
-
Lag.... ...and what can't be attributed to lag is probably "network manipulation" by players. The fact that Bungie still used P2P networking for the game, means that they don't have full control over the experience....and players can easily cheat.

Man, I have noticed some matches my character moved slightly faster than other matches. Happens all the time. Can’t tell if it’s host based or not.
-
It's mostly down to host advantage. As the player base drops off and match making is forced to match players who live further apart it becomes more and more apparent.
-
It comes down to skill and positioning. If it was manipulated like you say I would notice after the amount of time ive put into PvP in this game.
-
6 RepliesRigged games? Puh-lease. They can’t make normal matches work right you think they can make rigged games work right? Someone is supremely butthurt they lost and is making excuses. Shocker.
-
1 ReplySimply google Activision first person shooter patents. What you find might make you want to never play destiny or any Activision game again

Hahahahahahahahaha

U mad cuz bad

3 RepliesWhat exactly is "reduced damage"??
-
19 RepliesLol the mental gymnastics some people will jump through to convince themselves they’re better at a video game than they actually are...
-
1 ReplyThere is nothing to see here. This has been going on since 2014. Bungie will never admit the manipulation.
-
1 ReplyIt's you. Unless you play identically the same every match

2 RepliesI was saying this to a friend months ago, and I was thinking exactly the same thing. I first noticed something I named 'Gifted kills'. I'd be a fair distance away from teammates and not even firing and in the feed it'd come up that I defeated someone?! I chalked it up to maybe being near a teammate, but I wasn't even firing so it wouldn't even count as an assist. This confused the he'll out of me so in future matches I paid a lot of attention to the kill feed and it was quite enlightening and slightly crazy. The true test was on Vostok during an Iron Banner. I spotted a Titan that was running to the back of the map where they have the raised platforms. I'd just spawned in so instinctively started shooting at him while chasing him down. All my shots were on and he took the best part of a clip so I think there was a little lag. By this time we're next to one of the towers on the very top platform and he finally goes down. I looked at the kill-feed and it said someone else defeated him! I looked around trying to find said player and he was on the other side of the map where the caves are and BEHIND the rocks. I thought I was losing the plot so thought I'd ask around and see if anyone else was having the same thing happen. Turns out nearly everyone I spoke to had similar stories, especially being seemingly invincible for a couple of minutes to then getting hammered by anything and everything the next. We're talking about players that used to live in Crucible since the D1 Beta so they know what they're on about. We've put it down to Bungie setting the game to 'gift' kills to a player now and again so that everyone feels a winner regardless of whether their team win or lose. I've never seen a match where someone has 2 or 3 kills, whereas in D1 that was commonplace. I don't know whether this happens in the ' competive' side of PvP as all my experiences stem from quickplay, but it shouldn't be happening in either to be honest. It was one of many reasons I gave up playing D2.
-
I do find sometimes I can go from a 3 or 4 K/d to a 0.6 in the very next game but I just assume it's the different players rather than some buff/nerf to my stats by Bungie.

2 Repliesi haven't played in a while but when i did it seemed like you either got stomped or did the stomping, there were very very few close games.
