Player count keeps dropping
I know I'll sound like Lethalviper by posting this, but this is ridiculous. Crucible count to less than 350k? If I recall, it was 1.3 million pre-Christmas. Bungie. You've lost almost 75% of your playerbase is LESS THAN TWO MONTHS. Does that not speak to you that something is seriously wrong?

1 ReplyThere's nothing to chase. I know they frustrated some people but I miss the random rolls. I played hours of pvp in d1 chasing God rolls. There's no loot drops. There's no excitement.

1 ReplyDon't forget, those stats INCLUDE people still playing Destiny 1 ... I'd love to see the break down of the two. I know a lot of people are still playing D1 and went back to it.

Question related to this post. What of all the things we have seen hell since the game released in terms of righting the ship should we point to to stem this loss? Every time we get more information it only seems more and more like they have no idea what to do. All of the mod changes to date mean exactly not jack shite. The new strike "loot" is a pile of emblems or maybe a ghost. These items are not loot. They have not changed the Meta in the game since launch. We have 5 weapons being used across all play in the entire game. I know that is a reach but seems fair. It is likely more than five but that is close. A game maker can not release a disaster then take a year to make the slightest improvements. That is what we are facing. We are at what four months in and they have not fixed a thing. They at this point have started talking and even that is only leading to more problems as we see the path ahead and it looks like more of the same.

I haven’t even logged on this week. I probably won’t. This is probably why i get matched against the same people sometimes. But it all works out, cause in the end they quit to orbit. PvE is just dead

Who knows maybe there’ll only be 6 people on destiny 2 come next September and everyone else is on destiny 1

By this point, I imagine they are aware that something is seriously wrong. The problem I have been seeing is that they imagine that they know what will bring players back rather than ACTUALLY listening to us. I know that there are community people from Bungie that hear us, but I worry that the people inside Bungie who actually make the decisions aren't.

I think they know that something is seriously wrong, but they just can’t fix it fast enough.... the go fast update isn’t coming till the end of next month and the other major changes aren’t coming till sometime in May... it’s a waiting game now I’m afraid

Unfortunately, it seems we still have several weeks left until there are changes that will effect pvp, but they are coming. March 27th Hope this helps.
