Let me be frank guardians. Along with all the hype surrounding the "update" map Bungie so enthusiastically put up, the real truth of the community is the continued denial that eververse is not the problem. You are.
If, for example not one guardian cared to dance, emote or shade like a fool the entire inventory would be devoid of any substance.
EVERYONE bought silver as soon as they loaded in the tower. Don't lie, you wanted to be cooler than your friends.
I did and all I got was a ship to show for my 20 bucks.
I think it's safe to say there will never be enough for anyone. Including you.
Keep complaining. Keep trying to be with the "in" crowd and trend away, but never forget. In D1 you started the d2/eververse problem. It wasn't anyone else.
Edit 1:
I won't be letting this thread die anytime soon. I have to be completely honest with all of you. I've been playing Destiny for years I've invested hundreds of dollars I've met so many people had so many great experiences blah blah blah.
Do you remember how that last sentence started?
I did this I did that it was on me my greatness my Legend me me me.
It's on bungie to go ahead and make something that everybody really really wanted. To look cool be cool and ultimately be the best.
Now all we want is more. You are a bunch of spoil crackhead crybabies end of story.
This game is still better than Destiny 1.
And every single person that plays Destiny thinking that they can be better than someone and be more Elite than someone and have more than someone and want more than someone and do more than someone and everybody wants to be down with that Elite crew that is the Crux of the toxicity in this community.
So trust me when I say you are the problem in this community.
The way you act the way you treat each other and especially the way you treat the people who create this game
Just remember one thing I have also rung them a gigantic one.
Only because I feel Justified.
And I am justified because I am invested in this franchise I believe in its potential just like everyone else and all of those flakes out there that want to talk s*** about this community since D1 and want to complain about it since D1 all because it was cool.
Not many of you have any bearing on the future of the franchise.
Ultimately Eververse isn't the problem, it's all of YOU and your self-centeredness.

1 Replyyou are the problem, enabling bad business practice, blaming others for your mistakes being an apologist wanting to be treated with respect and not an aquatic mammal is not a bad thing, don't drag people down with you how can games like Monster Hunter, warframe or even the Division be so much more consumer friendly and this game not be, it also sounds like you have an addiction/gambling problem, please get some help most people have enough common sense not to buy silver in D2 since there is nothing good to get, the reason people want Eververse gone is because it replaced actual useful and meaningful content

Son, I think you landed on your head when you fell out of your mother while she was smoking crack.
-
Eververse was the problem tho

So, we have found the new Speaker. He speaks not only for the Traveler, but for everyone. hahahah I got my weekly quota of fun in this thread, let me go back to a real game. LOL.

1 ReplyYou bought Silver and accuse others to be the problem? Shame on you I never have and never will buy silver for the Everscam
-
"Everyone" bought silver? Hmm......you sure about that? Like, are you really sure about that?
-
1 ReplyYou're right, YOU are the problem.

2 RepliesNever understood the Eververse hype, I got all my gear for free by playing the game, then again I'm not a sheep.
-
1 ReplyI can assure you, not everyone bought silver in D2. They've got to have something you want to have a reason to buy it, and so far there has been nothing at EV that remotely tempted me.
-
1 ReplyI've never bought a micro-transaction in any game in my life. Honestly, I never even spent the 200 free silver in D1 that we got with the taken king (wasn't sure what to spend it on and ended up never using it). I did however buy pokemon/yugioh cards with my allowance when I was a kid, so I'm not going to judge anybody for buying lootboxes (considering there's a chance they're a kid too). But the issue is definitely on game devs/publishers for placing predatory systems in that aggressively take advantage of children, probably more so than adults.

4 RepliesWell your definitely a wanker
-
1 ReplyDumb. I have not bought silver, nor will I.
-
2 RepliesRight. Because I programmed Eververse into the game. It's my fault.

2 RepliesEdited by piratepatchy243: 2/7/2018 10:43:16 PMI didn't really care either but in D1 it was just there, but was apparently put in place to pay for future events. It really wasn't clear though, people assumed it would hold more than just crimson days and srl. It really wasn't even pushed or talked about much as gear was spread evenly between vendors. That is not the case now, a lot of gear is behind eververse now. Holiday is useless with Eva Lavante is nowhere to be seen, item containing pertinent lore as well. Holiday needs to get busy and stop idling with vangaurd chatter, Lavante needs to arrive to sell her wares. Items containing important lore should be earned through a pertaining quests. Yes the situation did get out of hand, but with everything else that has happened how can you be surprised. With D1/Bungie's history all eyes were on it already, with every -blam!- up It's looked at closer. It's certainly not all us, they had bad implementation with poor handling since launch.

3 RepliesNope, never bought Silver. Sorry that you felt it necessary to make such a post to make yourself feel better about buying Silver.

1 ReplyEdited by TheTommieC: 2/7/2018 3:19:55 PMEveryone bought silver? I haven't paid a single cent. Surely not in Destiny, and definitely not in Destiny 2.

2 RepliesI’ve never bought silver. Never will. You did. You are the problem.

2 RepliesIdiot

1 ReplyI've NEVER ever spent a penny. As a matter of fact, I've never ever used bright dust on anything that wasn't named "fireteam medallions". And since Bungie throttled xp, I'll never ever spend bright dust on anything. It's all useless now. So, no. It's my belief that there are a minority of the players who do regularly spend money at the store. Those, and those alone are who Bungie has built D2 for. And, in some since I have to agree with them. I put 5200 hours into D1 for only the cost of game and its' dlc/expansions. Hard to "make money" off ppl who aren't spending money in the game. That presupposes money is the end game of Bungie, not necessarily developing a high quality work product. Bungie chose money, can't say I blame them. But it does lead us to the current state of D2.

2 RepliesJust because you bought silver and you are trying to make yourself feel better doesn't mean we all did... I learned my lesson in d1.
-
1 ReplyI never bought silver, never would, fools errand. You are part of the problem and no solution. Bitterness and regret are no indication you've learnt your lesson
-
6 RepliesNo frank, you're wrong.
-
I used the free 200 silver in destiny 1 haven’t had anymore silver since then lol

Never once bought silver. But I seem to get everything she’s selling.
