MIDA heavy in the Mars expansion
Just a suggestion: It’d be cool if a power weapon of the MIDA family was a quest in the Mars expansion. Like a grenade launcher or rocket launcher. MIDA Mega-Tool.

A grenade launcher that lets you switch Proximity/Timed/Triggered/Impact detonations, the ability to swap between flash, incendiary, HE, or fragmentation ammo, while also giving you faster movement while ADS. When you have the full set equipped, you maintain your Radar while aiming down any Sight as well as rapid swapping/readyness.

id just want the mida arctypes to be expanded so there is energy and power weapon that synergise with the mida in some way, like a hand cannon with increased range,damage and accuracy when mida is equipped.

Make it an "over/under". Scout on top and grenade launcher under that can only use your charged grenades but makes them more powerful.

Sword + LMG in one, with flavour text indicating it's useful as a toothpick, letter opener, stealth breaching device, terrain clearance assistant, building deconstructor, planetary mining apparatus, list continues...

Increase the reload and ready speed of all three weapons if all are equipped at the same time. 4 RepliesEdited by ZoniCat: 2/7/2018 12:22:56 AMEveryone seems to be missing the purpose of the MIDA line gameplay wise. The weapons provide a boost that is always useful; Mobility. They don't provide a wide array of boosts that are sometimes useful, no, they just give you one blanket buff that lets the weapon perform above average in all situations without dominating the competition (Mainly because almost no weapons give a mobility buff). Personally, for the weapon and perk, I see a grenade or rocket launcher with a perk like; "Taking blast damage temporarily increases movement speed" or, more realistically; "If the MIDA-Multi Tool is equipped, move faster while sprinting and aiming while holding this weapon". I Could also see a sniper that maintains radar while aiming down sights if the Mida-Multi Tool is equipped, but that seems very campy.

It would be a sniper rifle that could switch fire modes between machine gun, rocket launcher, and sniper rifle..but switching fire modes would consume a portion of the power ammo
