I liked what I was reading.
Granted, we should've already had this shit but we've already beaten that dead horse.
Good update all around.

1 ReplyWhat happened to the Emote Wheel?? xD

12 RepliesUpdate was ok. Again, it's a step in the right direction and I'm liking the idea of being able to randomise your armour between resilience, recovery and mobility. Now we need mod system 2.0 to knock the ball out of the park and I'll sweat that game once more!

Agreed, these are the kinds of TWAB posts we want. Actual plans, new features and how/why they were chosen and upfront clear information. Good stuff by Bungie.
-
3 Repliesits just to late, i stopped playing before the first dlc , they should of fixed there garbage game sooner., this shit aint bringing me back even if its good.
-
5 RepliesEdited by MrFisherman35: 1/26/2018 7:36:06 AMWhat was good about it? Seemed pretty insignificant to me seeing how it's all d1 stuff that was missing.

So, i have my shaders inventory full and i even have some in the vault already. My glimmer is already 100k... I`ve been deleting shaders over and over again and not getting those so called rewards (glimmer) on deletion, i think most of us are doing the same... Would it be so hard to put an option saying : DO YOU WANT TO DELETE NOW AND LOSE ALL REWARDS ? Yes or No ? Is this hard to do, give the player a choice? Apparently it seems so...LOL Most games from past and new generations have these function, A SIMPLE FUNCTION that, again, apparently is HARD for BUNGIE and BUNGIE alone. So i ask again, if i´m already losing glimmer deleting one by one, would i really care about losing that same glimmer deleting those same shaders only 1 time? Bungie is lame and lazy. Can´t fix glitchs heavily impacting the game but, my oh my they are quick to add new stuff to Eververse. Yeah, after the next dlc, that i unfortunately alreay paid with my season pass, i´ll be completely done with Destiny. Yup, like so many people have been saying : Destiny really cured me from lots of things, one of those are preordering. NEVER AGAIN. Bungie is a joke right now.

Yep I'm not one for praising Bingie but, clearly Chris and his live team are exactly what this game needs. Now if we can get them to do Warframe style bi-weekly developer updates and have the likes of Cosmo, Deej (yea I do mean that) and er the other dude/dudette do weekly streams of them actually playing the game they community support. It would start to at least give them a good grounding in both the player bases frustrations and what needs to be fixed or updated from an actual player perspective. When you stream a play session and run into a guy shoulder barging you from heavy or a rocket not denting a lowly Cabal then you start to get the idea of why the power fantasy is busted! You can then actually go back to the development team and say "Look at todays stream! Do you see me get ganked by a lowly Goblin in the heroic mercury adventure!!" etc. etc. Basically this is a good start but, it will only really gain momentum when the community team actually play with and represent the actual community!

It's about time we got a straightforward, honest seeming TWAB. This doesn't reek of excuses and bullshit - and actually shows they they are doing specific things to improve the game! I only hope it's not too late - I moved on to the division, and while the shooting mechanics aren't as good as destiny by far, the game is massively deep and customizable. Encounters are challenging and fun, and loot mean something. Armor sets with bonuses are amazing! I see the re-skinned iron banner weapons and slap myself on the forehead. Why Bungie, why! I'll give IB a shot next week - cus I always play it, but I'm not missing destiny 2 at all anymore. D1 I couldn't put down!

best we can expect so a step in the right direction. With everything that has gone before still no Y2 for me though. However, this was a good weekly update.
-
My question is, why doesn’t the raid vendor drop masterwork items. The trials vendor does.
-
You can see that they are trying. I'll take it
-
2 RepliesI'll wait for the 40$ expansion reviews, until then I prefer this other looter shooter am playing atm called Alienation, try it out
-
5 RepliesHow is that smaller drip feed of content working out?
-
I'm excited to get my hands on that new exotic ghost.
-
An improvement to be sure. I hope this is a sign of things to come from Bungie and not simply a “one-off” for Damage Control purposes given the current state of D2.
-
If they can keep it moving in the right direction and keep up the communication I may stop lurking, reinstall Destiny 2, and actually play some again. I hope they can make it enticing for me again.
-
Well I didn't see anything TOO significant, but it's positive all around. However, they need to add more weapons and armor rather than stupid ghosts, ships, and sparrows nobody gives a shit about.
-
13 RepliesIt definitely was a great update. But I'm confused by the whole shader deletion comments. Says they can pretty easily make a way but then says it's not in the spirit. Just implement the easy fix and refine it later. Did I miss read that section? Why continue to torture me for an easy short term solution?
-
I agree, this update really feels like Bungie is trying to communicate better with us. It makes me feel a little better about this whole situation that D2 is in right now. Looking forward to more updates like this. This might be asking too much but I'd love to see a youtube video that complements the TWAB similar to the overwatch developer update video. Just my 2 cents.
-
3 RepliesIt was pretty good. Now I have even a greater reason to raid.
-
Agreed
-
Yeh I think I might actually play Iron Banner. I hope they turn this ship around.
-
I like it. Looking forward to playing next week. Actually, might even be grinding next week.
-
Good presentation fer sure. Let’s see if they can keep it up
-
Yup! Really good information and some excellent steps. Raid mods and updating how to get raid gear is great and adding Masterwork armor sounds sweet also
-
1 ReplyThere is still a long way to go for Bungie but, this week's TWAB is great overall.
