A few recommendations for the introduction of Masterwork Armor...
Because there are 5 armor slots I think the tuning of cores needs to be handled differently than Masterwork weapons. My suggestions are:
*Separate the resources and have Masterwork Armor and Weapon cores so the amount we get can be tuned and balanced.
*Masterwork armor should drop more frequently or dismantle into more cores than what Masterwork weapons currently do.
*It should take less cores to upgrade armor than what it takes to currently upgrade a weapon to Masterworks.
*Instead of an RNG factor of rerolling masterwork armor to the desired stat, can there be a cost and we choose the stat we want. (ie Mobility/Resilience/Recovery).
*Can we just have a set amount of cores that both Masterwork armor and weapons dismantle into instead of an RNG factor of between 1-3. 90% of the time it’s not 3, that is frustrating.
Overall, the introduction of Masterworks has been fantastic in my opinion. I really enjoy running strikes and seeing how many orbs I can create for me and my fireteam. It also gives people something to grind for. The orb bonus on Masterwork weapons is very effective and I hope the damage resistance during super from Masterwork armor is just as impactful.
The last thing I want to see is the community hating on Masterwork Armor because they drop too rarely and are not respective of our time.
Thanks for listening.
