Destiny 2 cured my Destiny addiction
Thank you Bungie for giving me so much free time to play other games.

Destiny 2 sure cured my insomnia. One or two rounds of PvP put me to sleep faster than anything I could get at the drug store. lol.

TTK cured my addiction to Destiny, but mostly because I saw what it was going to lead to - Destiny becoming nothing more than a generic FPS. That's what happens when you socialize the loot system and convert endgame rewards to be nothing more than cosmetic in nature, and to top it all off, render the loot worthless through nerfs/balancing changes for the sake of PVP. Taking the TTK/RoI blueprint to the next level is what resulted in Destiny 2. What do you get when you have an FPS/Lootgrinder hybrid game and then nerf both the LOOT [u]and[/u] the grind? You get an FPS game. That is why Destiny 2 lost its magic.

4 RepliesLol, i logged in today for the first time in a few weeks, i couldn’t even stomach to finish my 3 heroics done, two straight of the same strike (mercury root mind) i just turned it off. It a sad state, it makes you feel like theres no reason to play. Well...back to the plains of eidolon, I’ve got rocks to collect and fish to catch.

Here Here. I've been Destiny 2 "clean and sober" since October. I am enjoying rediscovering The Division. It IS a better game now than D2. I'm also enjoying Skyrim, Halo Wars 2, and I just got Rainbow Six Siege (2nd try).
