Radiolarian cultures not dropping

Anyone else got this problem? For the public events? I seem to not always get one however the other material I always get from strikes and crucible etc.

Do you have a verse in your inventory which requires them? Only then will they drop.

Its nerfed so you don't get the guns to quickly.. I get a green every 2-3-4th event..
