♧Upvote for a Vault space increase♧
Is your vault space full? Is there no room for that awesome weapon or armor? Then I guess it's time for you to upvote this. Let's hope that Bungie makes this happen but I doubt it lol!

Not a problem for me I just turn everything to shards unfortunately.... no random rolls leaves me with plenty of room.

Too much shaders in my slots. I don't use them much. I like destiny 1 is better.

I feel like they actually reduced the number of items you can hold in the vault. We should hold at least 400 and more in the vaults

14 RepliesEdited by Technohydra: 11/9/2017 4:00:38 PMSimple solution. Rolls are static, right? Ok then. Change the weapon and armor panels to have all weapons and armor in the game on them. Once you get them, they become available for purchase. Make everything cost 5000 glimmer or 5 shards and not give parts or shards until it's been infused once or had a legendary mod applied to it. Everything in the game, right there, cheap, easy. No more vault space needed, unless you have a suit set up exactly how you want it and want to keep in on hand. Done. Good for us, good for them, easy to code (the exotic collection is already the base code they'd need, just add more item IDs to it).

1 ReplyDatabases require servers, which cost money. The limit on vault space is a financial decision in game design. Here is why... Each account has the following unique space: (1) Vault (200 items) (2) Post/Messenger (20 items) (3) Character 1 inventory (90 items) (4) Character 2 inventory (90 items) (5) Character 3 inventory (90 items) (6) Inventory 1 items (non-unique except quantity) (7) Inventory 2 mods (non-unique except quantity) (8) Inventory 3 shaders (non-unique except quantity) (9) Vault for ships (10) Vault for speeders (11) etc. So for sake of example only, not exact accuracy, a single account could have 1000 unique items in their database. The items themselves can have Item + Mod + Shader, etc. etc. If you have 5,000,000 accounts with 1,000 unique items, that is 5 BILLION data files. 5 BILLION files constantly creating, deleting, changing, etc. 5 BILLION files that require servers, employees, overhead. It's very expensive. It's not just as simple as "Hey Bungie I want another 100 vault spaces" 100 Vault spaces means 500,000,000 Five Hundred Million additional data files.

Why? There isn't any content to fill it. No need once you have a weapon it has a stagnant roll.

3 RepliesHow the hell do you guys run out of vault space? I have copies of armor sets, extra legendary mods, transmat effects, ships, sparrows, and around 20 blue scout rifles for mida quest dismantling and I still only use roughly half of the 200 vault spaces. Stop hoarding, maybe?

With no random rolls on any gear, most of my stuff gets dismantled. My vault is full of dusty cobwebs.

I wouldn't mind seeing more space, but what killed me was in D1 the vault was separated by weapons, armor and misc. I miss that honestly, such a simple and common sense design item that was removed, that part I would really like to see come back. Let's get more detail, let's have cosmetics, mods, weapons, armor and consumables.

My vault is pretty much empty, I delete most everything I know I'll never use. I'm not much of a hoarder, and I've never cared about keeping sets of anything; but I up voted for those that need the space.

My vault is almost full. This is something they had problems with back in d1. I have to delete cool stuff for cooler stuff. I should.be able to keep all of my cool stuff. I have 3 characters so one gear set For each character for each faction as well as at least one of every legendary in the game. No space left what about iron banner gear and next season. I learned my lesson. Didn't like the feel of the smgs that i tried so I figured no need to keep any. I deleted 3 or more antiope d then had to use the mini mida and realized how awsome a good smg is in pvp. Now I regret deleting the antiope

This is there cute idea to sell SILVER... they know you are going to collect all the weapons ... They are using the Solar, Void and Arc Burn to trap you into buying SILVER for there MODS... It's just another layer of Bullshit.
