1 Replyi'm still going back to d1 crucible. palindrome ftw.
-
I manage to do it because i have accepted the realities of Bias matchmaking and that all shooters are just dopamine injectors. I play shooters because i like knowing that i am shooting other people on a game rather than a mindless CPU. Its simple and i don't care for more playing a GAME. I just want simple dopamine injecting action against human beings.

1 ReplyPlayed for 10 hours straight and then was sick of it. No shit dumbass...
-
6 Replies10 hours straight. I can tell you one thing you are lacking. Vagina. Last time you saw it was birth.
-
9 RepliesYou are complaining about something that kept your attention for 10 hours in a day. Jesus Christ. I don't know you, but I hate you. People that say I don't like the crucible and I'm not going to play it, that makes sense. But you, you are just a damn fool.

And I can safely say I'd rather have an unbalanced and chaotic PvP than a boring, competitive wannabe PvP. R.I.P Individual Skill To all those who manage to have fun playing the Crucible, I envy you... How do you manage to do it? EDIT: After a couple hours, my friends and I wanted to see how long we could play PvP before getting sick of it, and I'll gladly admit I was the first one to give up. EDIT 2:
It's Goldilocks and the 3 bears. If you participate too much you're a crazy addict and don't have a valid opinion. If you don't participate enough then you know nothing and don't have a valid opinion. Thanks to 'XenoSmiter' for pointing that out! Playing 10 hours

15 RepliesRiP individual skill is laughable. You mean rip YOUR PERCEIVED skill. Destiny 1 is not skill, it's abilty spam. All you kids lacking gunskill keep revealing yourselves. Guess what? If you have gun skill, you'll see that "individual skill" you're referring to.

5 RepliesBungie Dev translation: Dang. He played it for 10 hours? That's great. Bungie management translation: Dang. He played it for ten hours. That's amazing. Deej and Cozmo translation: Omg stfu. Hey team. He played it for 10 hours. That's incredible. Way to go. Activision translation: We are losing money. How can he play for 10 hours and not be coerced to buy silver? Luke Smith translation: Goddam I'm an asshat I'm sorry. 10 hours tho. Wow. Wife/Family translation: Omg he's playing that stupid game. For 10 hours. Jesus Christ how can that even be possible. OP's translation: this game sucks. I played it for 10 hours. Now I have to play something else for like 1 hour until I'm bored of it.
L. O. L.
2 RepliesEdited by iAmedius: 10/24/2017 1:16:52 PMI absolutely agree with you about how boring this game PvP is. People just sit back, camp and hold each other's dicks etc. But the point it, the community in Destiny one wanted balance and people get mad and complain about shit that are OP and right now there are still things that OP here and there. Bungie made this game what everyone was wanting in the first destiny. Abilities being less used, more gun fights etc but at the same time. In order to make those balances, there will be other problems that Bungie needs to face like the time to kill, how slow the pace is in PvP etc. In all honesty, it's kinda the community's fault, coz they were the ones who complained so much and won't stop complaining until they get what they want and in the end, when they get that they wanted...they will find things that they don't like and complain again. It will never change, rip bungie. I feel you.

1 ReplyDon’t u get bored dude? U ever solo pvp at all? If so, what’s ur opinion on the difference rather than playing w ur friends?

I play mainly PvE, but I do play crucible for the Milestones and IB, the same as I did for D1. I initially thought it would be a sweat-fest, and maybe it is on the competitive side, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've actually had fun in D2's crucible and I've certainly done better than I did in D1. I think you have to have an objective. Us PvE's only go into crucible for a particular task, so we can get in and out without either being bored to death or pissed at the losing. I found one thing, if I stayed with 1 or 2 of the other guardians, we did really well and I had fun killing other guardians as a result. I experimented with different loadouts and it was actually fun. What I don't like are the tokens in IB and wish they'd go back to the leveling system where we know what we're playing for, whether it be a weapon or armor. I also disagree that you have to have played 5,000 crucible games over 10,000 hours to comment. If you play for the milestones and IB you can most certainly have an opinion. There's definitely too much of the hardcore, vs casual, vs the elite level of opinions here. It would be a better place if there were not.

2 RepliesI really do enjoy D2's PvP. Typically to make balancing easier developers will just decrease the time to kill like titanfall 2 did, but in Destiny's case they did the opposite and made it surprisingly balanced. I enjoy it because it feels a lot like old school halo before big team battle. If I wanted a time to kill like D1's house of wolves I would've booted up infinite warfare. I just couldn't enjoy D1's PvP. I wanted to and tried to but it always came down to what weapon I was using rather than my aim, didn't matter that I calculated three Vision of Confluence shots on that guy with the thorn. Instead he needs only two to kill me and to walk away before I can get my 4th shot. D2's maps are much more what I wanted D1's to have. D1 had 2 sniper lanes and only small hallways and corridors. D2's maps are more open and offer you more in terms of positioning. You can chose to hold a long sightline with your scout rifle or flank around a side with your SMG. There's so much choice now, and grenades are your tools to take out groups of enemies.

1 ReplyOP played for 10 hours straight and a lot of you are giving them shit for it. 10 hours is more than enough of a sample size for truly getting a well-thought opinion on the game. I don’t see why OP is getting a lot of criticism for it. Some of you played PVP for a whole 10 minutes before running to the forum and making a wall of text about how bad Crucible is now. OP, you’re a brave person for going through that 10 hours. Thank you for your service

2 RepliesI haven’t been able to play a PVP for 10+ hours since Halo 3 and Gears of War 2
-
I manage because I stink at it and some games I do ok.
-
#9 in clash? Damn.
-
If you want to level up fast in Crucible get a 4-man team, go into Competetive, and just commit suicide each round. Since this socialist game doesn't give you anything extra for winning or playing well, it's the fastest way to get tokens and drops.

Famous saying. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

10 RepliesEdited by Cashjr23: 10/24/2017 6:38:10 AMhaving fun now that they seemed to have fixed the issue of solo players playing against organized fire teams...now only solo players play each other...played about 25 matches with no fire teams.

1 ReplyHow!?!?! I cant put 30mins into it, I hate PvP but I jump in for the rewards and I just cant.
-
1 ReplyTime to go back to Destiny 1. Where things were fun and you kept your shaders.
-
I've actually enjoyed D2's PvP more than D1's.
-
1 ReplyThere was no skill in D1. Just overpowered crutches
